Spamming must actually work

Everytime I look at a youtube music video I see some bullshit about "pocodot", Jesus Christ, If I knew who invented that and started the spam I would punch him squarely in the jaw. The same with all the youtube chain messages and shameless self promotion people spam on every video.

I can't recall the exact number, but it was something like 85% of all email is just spam. Everywhere you go online, there is spam and more spam. Surely no one clicks on it or listens to it right? Right...? Because if it didn't work, I'd figure they'd stop doing it, and since they haven't...I guess it works pretty well.

Because while curiosity killed the cat, it did horrible things to the body after then dumped it in a lake with concrete on its feet with the human. Someone, somewhere, has to press it..just to be sure.

Of course spam works they have done it for decades. As long as I can remember junk mail has arrived at every house I have lived at.

I bet even that gets more responses then true spam through, but the major difference is cost and reach. A flyer campaign through the mail is going to cost money, and only reach a limited number. Email campaigns can reach thousands of times more people, and all for a very minimal cost. So even if only one out of a 10,000 emails gets a response, you are still in the green.
