My guess: If you reading this your gay; I wrote that in latin and my mate found it translated it and I was laughing for a good 10 mins.

How would you translate "gay" in latin?

Well it was the word Queer actaully and a translater on the inter net

WARNING Im not bashing Gay people My friend was actaully gay and we joke about it, he just turns round and goes well yes or WELL YOUR STRAIGHT!

Don't worry, seeing how I study latin I was just curious as to how one might translate the word gay.

Man, you're lucky if you can remeber all the declentions and shit, let alone speak it.
Even the most learned latin speakers need a huge 4000 page vocabulary to translate a period.

I have a friend who can read Arabic but I wont be in contact with him for another two weeks, sorry about that. If he is able to tell what the characters are (quality is a bit bad, taken with a phone I assume) he could definetly tell me what it says. Like I said before though, wont see him for another two weeks, sorry for not being much help.

Pretty awesome thread though, it's fun when people come together for a common goal.

In both pictures there is written "ya walli" at the begining and the end in both pictures the mid is unreadable they dont makes sense in arabic at least to my knowledge and the very aspect that you found it tied to a tree i think it might be black magic and i think u broke the curse by removing it from that place i think u might of broke the curse off some poor bloke.
