Specialisations in Dragon Age

Hey, I'm playing Dragon Age on xbox, got to lvl 14 and was about to make myself a Reaver. I'd unlocked it by doing the quest and it said "specialisation unlocked". Also with Champion.
But it's saying theyre both still locked and the walkthroughs are telling me that's the only way to get them
Anyone know of a way around this? I hidden manual or a cheat or something?

hmm that's pretty messed up. Those two specializations can only be unlocked via story events. If you were playing on the PC you could probably mod the game to unlock them, but I don't know about the 360 :S

It isn't RTO. There was an update that came on the same day as RTO. Clear your cache. Do it now. Then reload a previous save and do the quest again. The update relocks all specializations. Wipes all your data for cross playthroughs and just fucks you over in general. So if you had romanced any characters you will have to romance them again. Or if you got a specific ending you will need to do that again. But don't worry the crack team at BW is working hard on it. A fix should be out in a few months (if we are lucky). Just gotta wait until they are done raking in thier cash first. Anyways here is some info on what happened if you need it
