Some games have it but its taken a back seat these days :/
Using Onlive (that cloud gaming service for those of you who don't know, check it out) as a benchmark, the arena mode allows you to watch other gamers playing multiplayer or single player and cheer or jeer, its especially cool if you don't have the game, gives you an incentive to try it out.
So here's the thing, would you like this feature on your consoles? The ability to watch the games being played by your friends and cheer them on, or talk to them, make suggestions etc. Obviously it would have an on and off feature, because some people wouldn't appreciate being swamped by their friends telling them this and that.
I personally think it would be pretty cool rather then just seeing text detailing what they are playing, but instead actually watch them play the game.
