Do you check your spelling when you post? And how do you check it?

I have another tab up and use google to check my spelling.

I also use Google for my Spellcheck, and check any words I don't know or just don't 'feel right' (Whenever I spell a word the wrong way I get this sorta feeling that it isn't right)

Yes I check my spelling when I post.

Sometimes when I don't know how to spell a certain word and the spellchecker doesn't know either, I just put (sp?) next to the word.

I have a dictionary Firefox addon that checks my spelling, and I check it myself just to make sure.

I have a small google search bar next to my URL bar. If I'm unsure of a word I just type it in there and a list drops down for what it thinks I mean. Simples.

Yep, Firefox has auto spellchecker, and I always use it. It burns me to leave a word misspelled.
Same, I always use the Firefox spellchecker. In extreme cases or if I'm in need of translations, I use Google.

According to Firefox's spellchecker, Firefox isn't a word. I find this amusing.

I would advise that everyone else do so too.

Haha.
My Firefox is Russian, so every word I type is a mistake.
Useless bastard.

Yes Firefox does all of my spell check needs, but most of the time I spell something right the first time

I use Google Chrome, so it tells me if what I've spelled is wrong.

Ironically, Chrome underlines the word "Google" in red.

When posting on my Mac incorrect words are underlined in red. Sometimes I can be bothered to go and correct, sometimes not.

On my PC I rarely even bother to proof read as I assume that most people ignore spelling errors and consider those who, in the heat of an argument, stop debating to comment on spelling to be a total douche.

I have the same/similar problem.
I don't know why but since I'm in Poland my firefox decided it needed to switch to Polish....the same with google. I don't know why but Polish Google pales in comparison to Google En.

I am confident enough with my own spelling and grammar that I don't check it. I also just "know" when I've spelled something wrong.

I'll read my post backwards. Not that grammar matters too much on the internet. Even if it does have you appear dull, who cares? It's the internet!

Yes, though, for me, It's a matter of personal discipline that I clean up anything I right, if only minimally.

I don't make the mistakes. well, if I do, I spot it, the correct it.
And then I re-read my post.
But this latest browser I am using has a check built-in.
Too bad it works on a U.S. English dictionary.
So it keeps telling me that I make mistakes when I do not...

I more or less just assume that I have spelt things right. Unless I have a problem with the word immediately when I try to spell it out, I just write and press post hoping that I got everything right and won't come off as a tard who can't spell.
