I've been doing a sci-fi webcomic for ...well it's going to be 5 soon and I don't see many comments at all. Even friends and family will just like the facebook update post but ignore the website.
I've come to accept that if no one is commenting, that can be a good thing since 90% of comments seem to be how you screwed up or how they hate your stuff.
Now any fanart I create, that gets liked and retweeted and my original stuff just sits there. ....Yeah I'm a bit bitter, but it's how it goes. It's why you see more reboots and sequels and less new stuff.
That said, I think someone tried to share the comic here and got a warning for "self promotional posts" yet he/she has nothing to do with the creation so...Hooray? I'm sorry fan! D:
