Splatterhouse remake: Killer game or dead weight?

Loved the old style Splatterhouse games for TG16 engine. Anyone think the upcoming remake's gonna be any good?

Looks like crap to me. The original games were snazzy because it was 110% B-Movie camp. Nothing of what I've seen of this game speaks to that.
