Ubisoft just thinks their DRM is perfect.

Yes, I agree. Most Ubisoft games browse for any available updates on the web whenever you try to start up a game, so why would they need to hold it back, unless it was an untra-serious bug?uppitycracker said:Uhhh... yeah... the game should have gone gold by now. If anything they'd release a patch for that. So okay, I basically don't believe that at all.
Probably give as a freebie when their polished up and debugged DRM crashes again.Toasty Virus said:Thats actually a really good point. The game will have been getting burned and boxed for weeksShamus Young said:How would you "polish and debug" a game which has already been mastered, disks burned, packaged, and are likely already in boxes waiting shipment to retailers?
The code was final weeks ago. And now two weeks before release they need to... fix some stuff?
Yeah. At least they realize that bugs and lack of polish are still better than their DRM scheme.
What are they going to do with all those copies?
Dammit I knew that was coming but you caught me off guard hahaAbedeus said:The Polish don't want the DRM.Warstratigier said:The DRM sounds like its the one that needs the polish and de-bugging
I don't. That fucking thing destroyed one of my CD drives!Mr.Tea said:Too bad I won't buy it. And I used to love Splinter Cell too... I can't believe I miss Chaos Theory's Starforce DRM...
Buy it used, Ubisoft still wont see a dime from the sale.Flames66 said:Splinter cell is made by Ubisoft? Oh Bollockbitchbumballs! Looks like I'm back to TF2 again, damn it. (I will not buy games from Ubisoft until they remove all DRM from all of their games, I said so in that petition and I will not go back on my word)
Will that work with the DRM?MisterShine said:Buy it used, Ubisoft still wont see a dime from the sale.Flames66 said:Splinter cell is made by Ubisoft? Oh Bollockbitchbumballs!
