Well at least that solves the problem of buying another game two weeks after Bioshock 2. I shall have enough time to finish that and get all the achievements and so on.

Although admittedly it does most certainly sound like an excuse. I wonder what problem they have encountered.

Can't help but think Mr. Fisher has taken a leaf out of Ezio's book on how to assassinate whilst hanging from a ledge
Or Ezio stole it from Sam, since he was doing it in Chaos Theory.
Agreed. Kids these days, next they'll be saying that Warhammer 40,000 stole the idea of power armour from Halo.

Splinter Cell Conviction will be the only good game of this year, with Mass Effect 2 behind it.
Can you link me to wherever you bought your psychic abilities?

Good. There is plenty to keep me occupied from February to April, (Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, Dead Rising 2, two 2)and now I won't have to spend my money on this game until I am ready to play it, AND not only do I get to save that money a bit longer, but it will be BETTER when it comes out.

For me, this looks like a good thing from all sides

But then again I thought Mercs 2 would look better then Mercs 1...

Sam found out Snake still isn't dead and refuses to leave where he is hiding until he is.

Good god this game's been delayed a lot, I sure hope it's worth it. At first I wasn't excited, but then I watched the coop video for it:

Looks pretty damn awesome to me, and can anyone else say more...

They're lying.

As I've pointed out on another thread, it's to balance out something to do with the fiscal years because Avatar: The Game (and some others I guess) made this one shit.

My proof?

Logic.
Im going with this.

Also, isn't this the second time now the game was delayed?

I still think it's because they wanted to have a stronger start for the next fiscal year. I hate how that system works.

The first iteration was scheduled for a 2007 release, so no - not by a long shot.

Another delay for this game? This has to be torture for people who love stealth games.

As others have said, smells strongly of an excuse to delay until after the big releases in Quarter 1 and shifts it into the next financial year to help give their accounts a strong start. Smart move!
I wouldn't have bought it if it came out when it was originally due as my time up till April is already taken with Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, FFXIII and God of War 3. Hopefully they'll bring it out in June (so still Q2, and Q1 financially) to give me something to play during the traditional summer drought.

said the same thing LAST YEAR. It really is starting to take WAY to long for games to come out these days.
