Splinter Cell: Conviction, Problems with P.E.C. Challenges

Is anyone else running into problems with Splinter Cell's Breaking Glass challenge? Maybe I'm just doing something horribly wrong but either I smash the dude's head through the glass window when I am up close to it or throw the baddies at the window from a distance and they simply bounce off with no damage done to the glass. Either way the challenge remains unaccomplished.

Who has finished this challenge? What did you do???

Breaking Glass Challenge, try doing it with a brick in Siberia!

Sorry, you just reminded me of a game. I haven't got the game yet, but my first thought might be say difficultly, are you on the lowest difficultly as some games won't let you get achievements if it's on the lowest setting. Also, I know that splinter cell has had a patch on release, you tried getting it as it might fix the problem.

When it comes out tommorow i'll likely buy it, so i'll hopefully have an answer for you tomorrow

Well, it isn't an achievement it is one of many in-game challenges that earn you points on completion to buy upgrades for all your gadgets and stuff. I haven't run into any other problems with the PEC challenges but for some reason I not breaking the glass window with the dude's head the "right way" or something,

Ok, so went back to try again, and I have quite literally just thrown a guy through a window (shattered glass and all) and it did not award me the challenge.

I think you have to do it while interrogating someone, in nearly ever interrogation scene there is glass somewhere.

On Korbin's mansion scene, the 1st window that you have to climb....do not pull the guard the window but wait until he turns and walks a short distance away. Then climb thru and grab him from behind. Line him up with the other window in the room which will be closed and throw him thru it. That's how I got the challenge done.
