The main reason I have made this thread is because they just pushed back the release date another two months or so from when it was supposed to come out late February.

I'm just wondering how many other people are fans of the series and looking forward to the game. My friend just recently started building computers and he built one for me so I could play conviction. It was one of the main reasons that I got a computer for myself, seeing as the games not going to be on the PS3.

Well, everything looks good, except one little detail.

I don't really know anything about the A.I. yet. If there's some kind of developers diary I've missed, please tell me, but so far, I know nothing of it.

And I really want to, because I'm curious about one thing: The "Where the enemy last saw you" feature of the game, which shows you where the enemy last saw you. It's very cool, but I want to know if the enemy will be dumb enough to just simply continue focusing on that specific area until you've shown yourself elsewhere, or if they after a while will assume you're not there anymore and re-group.

I'm curious about this. It's not a deal-breaker as to whether or not I will buy the game, but I simply want to know.

Now that'd be funny. The enemy just stands there for five minutes looking at one dark corner as you slowly sneak up behind him. Makes me chuckle.

I'm a big fan of the Splinter Cell series so I'm looking forward to Conviction.I was disappointed when I heard it was delayed but I reckon it will be worth the wait.

I am quite interested, which is odd, given I've never bought any other Splinter Cell games. I played the demo of Double Agent, and the demo itself was pretty buggy (framerate drops etc.). It looks fairly good and hopefully will pique my interest in the series.

Blegh, that was the worst of the series, I hope the new one isn't like DA.

I am very excited for SC:C because I grew up with Splinter Cell and it will forever be one of my favorite series. My only worry is it will be too different than the originals and it wont be the same Splinter Cell I know and love, but I am excited nonetheless.

I want it, and I must have it.

You should've played Chaos Theory. Double Agent changed the winning formula and didn't pull it off well.

It's sort of late to claim the release date was "just" pushed back isn't it?

I don't really care when it comes out, I'm still looking forward to it.

That's going back what? To early Xbox? I'll see...Chaos Theory is 1200 MS Points (about 15 USD)...A physical copy should be cheaper.

Yup. All Original Xbox Splinter Cells work on the 360, so that's not a problem.

Disclaimer: If you do not enjoy Chaos Theory, apart from my utmost surprise being incurred, I would like to state that I am in no way responsible for your ensuing grump.

It seems too different to the previous ones I loved like Double Agent and Chaos Theory. I'll probably still buy it though when it gets cheaper than release price.

They'll assault that position for a while, but from what I've seen they'll then break off and look for you. I'd imagine that the time this takes them to figure out is decreased as the difficulty level is raised.

OT: I CAN'T WAIT.

I've been waiting for so long, and I was so mad when they pushed it back. 16th of April here I come.

That's all providing the DRM is changed though, unfortunately. Petition here: http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?ew15dl94

There is no Spy vs Merc, only co-op. Sad times for Splinter Cell, at least for me, considering that was the main thing I enjoyed in all the others and especially in Chaos Theory.

I'm definitely looking forward to it after watching the dev diaries, but I am a little disappointed that the spies vs mercs online play seems to be gone for good from this franchise.
