I recently purchased Splinter Cell: Conviction and was un-pleasently surprised.
I have been a long time fan of he series and always liked the stealth element of the games.

But when i played this game i felt like I wasn't playing Splinter Cell at all. Am I the onlly one who feels like they should've stuck to the old formula and not changed the stealth elements as much?

Also, Ive played through it so you cant spoil it for me, but please no spoilers.

I hope I don't come off as hostile but the movement of the game away from the stealth aspect was one of the major advertising points Ubisoft was using.

Personally, I enjoy the faster paced gameplay and I will admit I love the ability to feel like a complete and total bad-ass. Almost like Batman with less gadgets.

I'm glad they changed it up but theres one thing I don't like....When the game TRIES to be a third person shooter. Mid-way through there will be cutscene where your in Iraq

It fails

Really? Customizable weapons, mark and execute, and the best story EVAR!

You are never the only one. I agree with you, the old Splinter Cell was much better.
