Splinter Cell Double Agent PC help

All right...backstory time.

I bought the splinter cell series on steam and Number 1 and Chaos theory work fine but Double agent is bad beyond belief.
I have finally got the game to work with all high settings and a custom resolution but i still have no sound what so ever.
The steam forums are no help and the support just throws me to Ubisoft and there website lists no fix either besides saying the game must be installed to your Main Drive or the C drive which it is installed to.
I have been trying to get the game to work for about 4 weeks now so imma about feed up with it.

So i was wondering if i get a no-cd crack or something if it would fix the sound problems i am having?

Or does anyone have any idea on how to fix this royal fuck-up of a console port.

Without any specs, I can only suggest you update your audio drivers.

You bought it in steam yes? A no-cd crack wont do shit.

From all the information currently given, your only shot atm is to update your audio drivers, but having said that if you've been trying to get things to work for 4 days then you probably have already tried that.
