Well, I once again return to the Escapist for their help. Using your infinite pool of knowledge, deduction, and pure, unadulterate opinion, I want you to help me pick out a game. Just one though.

There are 3 I currently want, but do not have.

Assassin's Creed II
Left 4 Dead 2
Dragon Age: Origins

And I really think I'd like all three. I loved the first Assassin's Creed, and after seeing some friends play ASCII, I'm pretty sure I'd love the new one.

I found L4D1 pretty good, and the new additions to L4D2 seem to justify the $60 price tag. Though admittingly, I am rather weak on the MP section of games (I play by myself, since I really don't have any friends who play the same games as me), but it looks like a lot of fun for single-player too.

As for DA:O, I'm a huge fan of Bioware, and the thought of a60+ hour main game that is replayable is very tempting, especially while waiting for ME2.

So Escapist, what would you say to me for a choice?

Dragon age, hands down.

If you like rpgs.... Well this is THE RPG. The one game you will never forget.

In my opinion, even mass affect hides in shame when compared to this masterpiece.

But get it on the pc. Dont ruin the experiance for yourself.

I recommend Assassin's Creed 2. I've played around maybe 6-8 hours, and it's still fun and refreshing. And the open-world aspect is much more fun. There are more side-missions, more parkour, more everything (except shittiness).

I haven't played any of the others, unfortunately.

Left 4 Dead 2, as it's a multi-player game, and multi-player communities are best when the game first comes out..... if you wait too long for it you may have a hard time finding others to play it with you.

Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed are both solitary games and a good compliment to a game like L4D 2.

My laptop is not that great, and since I don't like slideshows when I play games, if I get any of these games they're going to be for 360.

Get Assassin's Cree 2. I just finished the main story last night and if you liked the first one the second one is far greater. The climbing/free running is faster and smoother feeling than in the first, the story in the game is fantastic and draws you in even more than the previous one. The puzzles hidden in the game are tough but extremely rewarding when you figure them out and the Codex pages ad a lot to the Assassin's Creed storyline.
