I play left 4 dead 2 quite a bit, and every once and awhile a friend will come over and play with me.
I've noticed A lot of people on Live have a strong dislike for "Split-Screeners."
I was just wondering if anybody could give me a reason why people don't like it when people play Split Screen. Whenever I ask someone on Live why they dislike it they just answer with "durr durr, because you're pussys."
So, I was hoping I could get a more legitimate reason from you people here on the Escapist.

There's a sort of notion to suggest that playing split screen is more the 'noob' thing to do as you can easily screen cheat your opponent. Admittedly it can actually be hard not to when it's right there in plain sight but still the general idea is that if you can see where your enemy is coming from then it isn't really a fair game.

Or at least that's the reason people always give me when I ask the same question you did.

Basically, they're talking out of their ass, or they're jealous that they don't have any friends of their own to split-screen with. The majority of people of Live will talk trash at almost every occasion cause they think they rule the universe or something. All you need to do is laugh at their stupidity and move on.

Well, it would make your connection run slower (one more input to process), so people with poor internet access in the first place would find their game lagging badly. Maybe this is why?

Whenever I play with a friend we are always sure to be on the same team to avoid this, because we both understand it would make the game unfair.
