This game has taught me something very important. I now know why people stopped making side-scrolling puzzle platformers.

Seriously, this game is controller breakingly frustrating. I've found the only way to complete the later levels is to kill yourself on as many things as possible until you've memorised all the obstacles. And despite this, i keep playing the bloody thing.

In an effort to make this into a thread and not just me getting rid the blood pressure caused by an hours session with it, does anyone else have it? What did you think? And what experiences have you had with this sort of game?

Havn't played splosion man yet but that's usually the way sidescrolling games or good platformers in generall are. They're incredibly addictive and often ludicrisly hard.

You say that, but my favourite has to be Sonic 2, which was amazingly fun and not really that difficult except for the final level. Even then, it just required you to memorize the moves that metal sonic made.

Good music too.

Played a bit of the demo of Splosion man, didn't like it much, but a friend of mine liked it, so I guess it's just a matter of taste.

Well I did say usually, and I myself quite enjoyed the origional three sonic games, great music, not incredibly hard, but somehow still very fun.

Splosion man is a very difficult in later levels. That being said, I completed the whole thing in one go, first time and never used the way of the coward.

I personally loved the game. Brings me back to games like Earth Worm Jim and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (they where my mario, I didn't get a console till I was 12).
