I know this is a longshot, but I'm wondering if there are any Spock's Beard fans.
I really think anyone who likes...well...music should give them a listen. Their style seems to have near-universal appeal. While they borrow liberally from 70's prog, they incorporate a pop-rock sensibility that's absolutely infectious. Lately, they've even incorporated hard rock/metal elements.
Here's a typical long song:

A short ballad:

And a short rock song:

All of these are from the early era, when they were fronted by Neal Morse, who went on to have an incredible solo career. But they made some great stuff after that as well, and their latest album, X, stands among their best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmpLxCruYhY
They're faced with another lineup change now, and I look forward to the music they'll produce, though I think it's sad to see their drummer/vocalist go.
Anyone who's already familiar with band? Thoughts from people who just heard their music?
