*Spoiler* Bleach Question

So I have been watching bleach but one thing has never been answered for me, in episode 168, the begining of season 9 it just skips and says that they escaped! In episode 167 all ichigo did was beat up grimjow. and get orihime, but he still had to get out chad who was surrounded by arrancars, and rukia who was passed out, and basicly dead.

Then the next episode it was like everything was back to normal, My main question is, Why did it end so weirdly? Do the ever explain exactly what happened?

Filler. Bleach is known for this.Its basically episodes that adds nothing to the story line in order for the manga and the anime to get some distance. They did it too, with he Zanpakutou Souls Arc.

You don't really need to watch it if you don't want to, but if you really love Bleach, then go ahead.
