The Kennedy family is guaruanteed to go berserk, I can tell you that much. That said, it's a shame you can only play as Kennedy.
No, the Kennedy's have always seemed fairly cool. Plus, it's hard not to love a zombie-killing JFK.

What's too say that this "trailer" wasn't a trap and you won't be killing zombies as JFK but instead killing zombie JFK.

Why are people so amazed by this? Treyarch's last CoD game was CoD5 (World at War) and after the end credits of that game there was also a zombie mode that handled exactly the same with identical powerups and even music, the only noticeable difference is that with this mode you play as JFK instead of a regular soldier and it's set in the pentagon (well, the clothes and identities of the zombies are different, they looked like office workers in this video, they used to be nazis and even then the difference is purely cosmetic).

Let's not forget that in that game you were only given a single map for the zombies; if you wanted all 5 you had to buy the map packs or a the bundle for 2000 MS points (sorry for not knowing the conversion rate, but that's a lot of extra cash, not to mention that Black Ops is costing more from the get go because Kotick is a downright ****).

What I'm saying is if the zombie mode is what you care for then just buy CoD5 and save half the cost of the new game, even after the Map Packs (which you'd need to buy for CoD7 anyway).

EDIT: A few notes about the zombie modes both have; after wave 5 you begin to get your gimmicky, annoying zombies, like zombie dogs who are fast enough to give you a seizure among others. Keep in mind that these maps are made for 4-player co-op, not single player, yes a person can play the maps single player but the game spawns a LOT of zombies and without being able to share around the point cost of things (like blocked doors, locked closets, etc.), have multiple people checking/repairing entry points and the sheer number of enemies (the amount of enemies is made with 4 players in mind) and the fact that you don't have other players to revive you should you cock up. If you're a single player man you'll be disappointed.

I will admit though in CoD5 the game had such amazing mooding and atmosphere, truly some of the best I've ever seen.

Buddy, it's not about being surprised that there's a zombie mode in this. It's about learning that it's so freaking awesome.

Also, whoever said that they won't be getting it for the sake of their morality...eh...way to stick it to the man? I see your point and your reason for holding out, but you're not going to turn any heads. In fact, once we see this game appear on your gamertag, we'll all chuckle and point at you for your u-turn driving.

If this is true, and this is actually happening, this has potentially just gone from 'awesome' to 'fully awesome!!' in terms of excitement.

Although I am wondering why it takes a few zombies at the end of the main game to make me excited to play it in the first place...

Seems as though Kennedy was expecting the zombies.

seems fake to me.
Why would Activision have it withdrawn if it wasn't revealing?

Two possibilities.

1. they don't want people getting the wrong idea and then being dissappointed when it doesn't exist.

2. they're humorless dicks that like to step on everyone they can.
I doubt people have managed to mod WaW to that extent, and make that cut-scene.
I'm sure if the original Nazi Zombies was leaked you'd have thought "The Nazis rising from the dead? Nope, fake"
I'm not sure it'd be that hard to do with two years to do it.
Black ops wasn't announced two years ago...I doubt they lucked out and black ops was the same time period as their mod.

I never said it was a surprise, especially since many months ago Treyarch said "Yeah, Black Ops is gonna have zombies". What I want to know is what makes this new zombie mode any more "awesome" than the old one? It's literally identical in every way, barring aesthetics of course (zombie/players skins and the voice overs that go with the characters, and to a limited extent the guns, but they handle the same in practically every CoD game).

I'm personally waiting for the Activision and Treyarch team to drop all pretenses and just make a straight forward zombie game on the side as well as CoD.

I agree with where you're coming from with regards to people boycotting games, the problem is that games aren't exactly a product where a boycott can work; a supermarket, a car dealership or even a video games retailer can effectively be boycotted because 99% of the time the same product is sold by other retailers, in this case (among a fair few others) if you want that product it's either yes or no, meaning many people will just say "fuck it" and buy the game because there's not much of an option if they do want the product.

Personally I'll probably end up buying the game myself, I'm a sucker for hype, but even I don't care much about this title at all, but I really won't even consider it until its price drops to about half of it's original.

First reaction: Why does everyone need to put zombies in their games?

Second reaction: You play as Kennedy. This is awesome!
Errmm,

1)Zombies
2)JFK
3)????
4)Mega profit!

Also, thank god this has been pre-ordered, I'd be so annoyed if I didn't get to play this soon, and also this takes the cake for epicest, random ideas.

The zombie bandwagon sure is getting full
yeah but by and large its filled with awesome games/DLC add ons, so who gives a shit? Not me cause I don't care about the 'bandwagon' I focus on the content as it comes wether its an extra in a game, a whole game, or an add on for a game I own.
I'm just tired of all this zombie crap. They're a cliche and they're gettin old.
yeah and your point...if your tired of this 'crap' don't by the games, either that or if possible bypass the zombie content in games you do wind up buying. Just because your sick of it that doesn't mean everyone else is
