If you haven't already, go watch Eureka Seven, despite the following it was a damn good anime series. Just be prepared for a diabetic attack

Ok, so it essentially starts off as a coming of age story as Renton embarks on a quest to protect Eureka, which is fine, but you'll normally find that coming of age stories are aimed at kids around the age of 14. This is supported by the fact that Renton is 14. However we then find out about Eureka's and Holland's past, specifically why Eureka is a "mama"... Is it just me or is that a little outside there target audience?

But, then again that age group is attracted to gore a bit so ok. Why then, did I find that I had a diabetic episode about five times in the series? The lovey dovey shit was almost too much, however, I guess it did work with the support crew, who were damn awesome.

The tone changes were annoyed me a bit... but then the tone change at the end of the first ten episodes was amazing so... Argh

WHO THE FUCK IS THIS SHOW AIMED AT!?!

It deserves a spot in my top five; but I can't kick of Vandread for it because it gave me hyperglycaemia.

Eureka Seven started off alright, but I had to stop watching after hearing Renton cry and Holland be an asshole for no reason for the hundredth time.

The series really lost me about the time...THEY showed up. You know, the children. These wretched demonic agents of suffering and misery kill any fond memories I have of this show. Seriously, after watching what they do, you begin to see child murderers in a whole new light. There is no redemption of this show after those assholes show up.

Renton's crying is a thing of legend though. I'm pretty sure he could cry about anything. Anything at all, you name it, he'll shed some tears for you. I know the creators of the show wanted to tell the story of him growing up and all that jazz, and learning that the world isn't as idealistic as he thinks it is, but does he really feel the need to cry about everything? Really?

If they got rid of the kids and gave Renton his balls back, I'd say this is a praise worthy anime, but alas, it's not so.
