I used to absolutely love this show as a kid. I still like the older episodes quite a bit, with the occasional good new episode cropping up. Though the last one that I really liked was when Squidward had plastic surgery done.

I love that show. Patrick is my favorite character though. Favorite episode is Krusty Krab Training Video.

Exactly the same sentiment. The training video episode makes me laugh until tears come to my eyes, every time I watch it. It's got that intentionally crappy and campy feeling that all real life training videos have, and that's what makes it so perfect.

This is probably nostalgia talking (i.e. it is), but I liked the first few seasons. Overall, they still seem funny almost 10 years after the fact.

I loved the series up until the end of Season 3. Season 4 and the rest suck, they're just not funny and don't have any of the catchy songs from the previous episodes. And I just found them to be less funny.

I think Spongebob hit his peak at the Spongebob movie. Ever since then it's been a downward spiral. His old stuff was great, putting his childlike innocence in adult situations resulting in general irreverence. But now he's become like Flapjack, and he just comes across as creepy and dumb.

i loved him as a kid then for some reason i stopped watching then i tuned in a year ago... im impressed that the voice actors can hold the voices while singing, screaming, yelling. Now if only they can use that impressive voice acting to deliver some funny lines without screaming for five minutes.
