Having just got shooting pains in one arm and one leg, not a rare thing really, I was wondering if-

a) anyone gets spontaneous pains like that and
b) if anyone has any suggestions as to why this happens.

A) No, not really.
B) My friend had those (Not in his legs and arms though), turned out it was shingles. May want to see a doctor.

I used to get something like that, but not anymore. Not really sure why it happens.

I randomly get intense pain in my left ring finger's nail. It's such a small concentrated pain, but it's like a 7/10 on the pain scale. It happens if I touch it wrong, and I still don't know how it actually happens.

That happens to me sometimes. I usually attribute it to being overweight and unhealthy.

Usually at least in my case it's due to poor circulation. So it can strike any part of the body but mostly in the extremities. So a Dr. visit is a good idea if this is persistent.

I have really bad chest pains, that I started getting near the end of the last school year. I turned out they panic attacks, caused by my shear hatred of going to school. So, thanks to my wonderful mother, I now take high school classes online and the pains are less frequent.

a) Yes.
b) Consult a doctor if you're worried. I sometimes get that kinda thing in the morning if I spelt on my arm the night before, so I'm not too fussed about it generally, but you should still pop in to see your resident physician if you're concerned about it.
