Name a game that you would look at in a store but you would pass it by and then after months of rejecting it you finally get it and love it.

Xenosaga
FF Tactics The war of the lions
The Club
Portal
FF X-2
Kingdom Hearts
Star Wars EAW

I cant say that ive ever done that with any games. Though I gotta say The Club is an underrated game. Its a riot and a half if you bring 3 friends!

I was like that with Quake Wars; I thought to myself when I looked at it, "it's going to be just like Wolf: ET," I decided at the time it wasn't worth it. A month later I canceled a pre-order of Warhammer Online becase I lost my job and couldn't get a refund; so I decided to try out Quake Wars and ever since I've loved the game.

I was looking at the Dreamfall special edition that came with an art book and the original game for months.

One day, just decided to pick it up because it was cheap, and absolutly love both the games now.

I went and bought Age of Empires 3 the other day, played the first two, so thought I'd give it a go since it was only £15. Has been good enough for the price so far.

Also I tend to buy lots of games from Good Old Games, even if I've not played them before. It's easy enough since they are $5.99-$9.99, so if they aren't so good, I've not lost a lot.

Rememebr Vandal Hearts? That was a terrific game and I never normally play turn based strategy. Well apart from Advance Wars on GBA. That was great too!

Universe at War (for PC, mind you). On the box, it looks rather like a generic RTS with nothing new to offer. When you play it though, you find out just how unique it is. It's one of the best RTS games I've ever played. Don't get it for 360 though because they failed to make it play smoothly on that console. Same goes for Battle for Middle Earth II: great on PC, terrible on 360.
