We all know Mario. He's that guy. No, not "that guy." You know. That guy. Who does things. Like jumping.
I bought Super Mario Galaxy 2 the day it came out. I'm a huge-anus Mario fan. In fact, Super Mario 64 was my favorite game ever. And nothing shall ever dethrone it. Maybe. Anyway, I was anticipating this game ever since it gave me an orgasm while watching E3 2009 on the picture box. And after hearing the stellar reviews it received, I shit my pants. I was like "Oh shit."
Then I bought it. Upon starting it up, I heard Mario's voice proclaim "Super Mario Galaxy!," and I was like "what the fuck? No, this is Super Mario Galaxy 2!" It wasn't even the same sound bit they used when you started up Super Mario Galaxy 1. Weird.
And then I played it and stuff. Yeah, lots of gameplay. Woo! I'm not going to bother going in depth with it. You get Yoshi, and it's kind of like Super Mario Galaxy 1.
When I play most games, I sort of mindlessly slur myself through it, not paying much attention to the little things. I do like a game with attention to detail, though. Overall, I didn't feel like much woke me up from my slur. Which is a good thing. Only frustration really makes me go "Wah! I'm in the real world!"
And people who are all like "Oh it's a rehash and a quick buck and WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME DILTON! WHY?!"
They're just assholes who overly speculate. Sometimes, speculation is not needed. Honestly, just play the damn game!
I got all 120 stars so now I'm collecting the green stars and it's not as much fun but it's still a nice touch.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a fine game. Go buy it. NOW.
Score:
5 stars!
