Spore Galactic Adventures - Help with my Captain

Hey guys,
As anyone whos played galactic adventures will know, the complexity meter that fills as you add parts hasnt been extended, and the new captain parts and weapons use that up, so, i've replayed and redesigned my captain and im up to the end of the creature stage and I have all the parts and the cute and creepy expansion. My problem is that all the guides say for best results, your complexity meter should be at green, whatever I change (switching mouths etc) I can't help being just into orange, one little circle past green.

Now sorry if im being really anal and planning ahead, but HOW necessary is it? If I wanted to use all the Warrior parts, all the Scientist parts, one of the Zealot and one of the Ecologist parts AND cover my captain in the non-captain parts to make a suit of armour, how much would I need? Below ill post the list of parts on my creature, and maybe can you guys post substitutions?

try weaker parts,that is a lot of high-evel stuff.
green equals low grade equipment and I'm seeing four 5's,five fours,and some of them aren't even neccesary.

start by ditching the glide,you'll be jetpacking anyways my guess.and weaken the bite,and what is up with the level 1 and 4 speed equipment,you only need one or the other,It doesn't add together.

also ditch the ears,they probably make your creature look creepy.

Sorry, should of stated, the lvl 1 speed is just the legs themselves, that the feet are placed on. and with the wings...the glide pack and jumo jets are unlocked in the Trader line. And with just 10 parts unlockable im wanting the 4 weapons from Warrior, the 4 energy regen things from Scientist, the Zealot armour and the Ecologist health regen so im compensating by having parts that would give me those abilities anyway :S

My creature already looks pretty damn creepy I've swivled alot of the parts round so they're concealed in the body and unfortunately i've removed ALOT of the aesthetic stuff.
