- I competed in shooting (me and my good old AG3 have a long story of victories)
- I have been shooting for 9 years.
- My best result is a 5th place in the Norwegian Shooting Championship with 348 points (350 is the best score you can get)

Played Football for 2 years when younger as a goalkeeper. Got one man of the match award.

Did Karate for 5 years, getting up to Black belt.

Tried to get into Pro-wrestling but cost too much so quit.

About it really.

Might I ask what eventing means in this sense? Horse-jumping?

OT: Hockey. I play for the 2nd team at my university, so far from expert. Got promoted though this season, so that's something!
Best results are Man of the Match awards, league promotions with both clubs and uni, and been playing for around 7 years now.

EDIT: Just want to clarify that this is Field Hockey, none of that icy stuff.

I used to play football, central midfielder or goalkeeper. I was better at playing goalkeeper because long passes were never a strong point. However I was a good tackler I always went in hard some say too hard. I've never excelled at anything in my life I've always been average or just plain shit.

I used to do karate. I went one year, or so, getting to yellow belt, before switching to soccer. Seven years of that, and I left the illustrious profession of sports. We almost placed once!

Can't really do competitive sports like I used to... back = fucked.

But, used to do: archery (junior recurve county champ when I was 17, before I went over to compound); football (right back but stopped when I went to uni); & Thai boxing (got to the latter stages of a couple comps but I was never serious about it... especially after breaking a rib...)

The only sport I compete in is Bowling and I have been in a bowling league for about 8-9 months and I average around 160. I have been close to hitting a 300 a few times but my best game was a 251. Some of the other guys in my league think that I could go pro if I keep improving the way I am.

Did wheelchair track for about ten years and went to the University of Illinois on a track scholarship; won some money in a few races here and there. Still play wheelchair basketball (fifteen years or so; Christ I feel old). We're pretty rubbish but trying to build our program.

Basketball, Point Guard.

On that note, who is you guys' bet to win the East? West?

I got the Celtics in the Finals against the Spurs with a C's win. Though that was back when I was counting on the Magic to beat Miami... Not sure what the Pacers can do.

I used to play some football(soccer, for you Americans). I was a really pretty good striker, but I was a bit of a wussy and easily intimidated by the thuggy kids. I'm a little mad at myself for not pursuing it because my aim and control are great.

Nowadays I play badminton and enjoy it a lot. I have my first league game on Tuesday. There's a great chance that me and my partner will be annhialated, but I'm looking forward to it anyway.

I don't see how you can go past another Bulls v Heat in the East. I'd pick the Thunder to not only get over the Spurs, but to win the whole thing.

OT Over the years I've played football (Australian), cricket, basketball, indoor soccer and a handful of others. Only one I ever played seriously was football (about 17 years now), in that time I've got 2 premiership medals (from the last 2 years) and a junior best & fairest (basically team MVP, call me Chris Judd). Cricket; I've got a bowling trophy (I'm a regular Shane Warne) and a couple of batting trophies. I played in a grand final for basketball a month a go, but we didn't even try to take that seriously, rocking up drunk every week.

I've played quite a bit of sports in my life.

Football, I played Defensive Back for the most part. In Basketball I usually played one of the Forwards. Hockey I would alternate between a center and a winger, and in Baseball I would play the outfield or first.

Most of this is just pickup stuff though, except for Football cause I was on the High School team

If Harden is healthy after Artest's cheap shot today, I'm picking the Thunder to win it all. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Spurs win it either, but I don't expect much else from anyone else in the west. Out of the east, I have to go with the Bulls if Rose is healthy. The Heat aren't in great health and they're too disorganized in my book. The Pacers might do alright, and I have no idea what to expect from the Celtics. I'll be rooting for Ibaka and the Thunder.

As for what I play, I played power forward in basketball for most of my school career. I did a few years of baseball and dabbled in football, kayaking, and soccer. I somehow played on only two winning teams between all seasons of all of those sports.

Okay, so I look at the East and here is what I see:
No upsets in the first round; Miami v Boston, Chicago v Indiana

I note a few things. Firstly, Boston can beat Miami, and have a mismatch at Point and the 5. Secondly, Indiana has a very balanced team with a rising star. I pick Boston to upset Miami, and Chicago to move on.

Boston v Chicago looks like a clean sweep for Chicago by virtue of rebounding alone, but I have a feeling they can pull it off.

In the west I see Thunder and Clippers getting upset first round; Basically I see Spurs and Lakers in the West Finals and I just can't bet against Popovich to a lesser coach in Mike Brown in a playoff series with two talented teams.

Spurs v Boston, what a series. I'm just picking Boston here because it's a toss-up to me and I don't want to waffle at this point.

I say Spurs and Thunder definitely make it through the first round and Grizzlies over Clippers. As for the Lakers, I think the Nuggets could be a tough matchup for them if the season ended today. If Harden comes back strong, then Thunder over Lakers/Nuggets (especially if Artest is out for any part of the second round). Grizzlies could definitely beat Spurs (if I recall, Grizzlies did it last year without Rudy Gay).

For the East, I see not 1st round upsets either, which by today's standings would be Bulls/Celtics and Heat/Pacers. Celtics could definitely beat Bulls with a less than 100% Rose, and Pacers could definitely do well with strong inside play, though they have no defensive answer to Wade/James.

I'll take the easy way out and say Spurs/Thunder and Bulls/Heat. Here, I put Thunder over Spurs and Heat over Bulls, putting this mostly on injured Rose again. I then go Thunder over Heat. Sure the Celtics have been playing well, but I would be surprised at conference finals matchups not involving these four teams

I played baseball in high school (state champs). I was a 3rd basemen and epic base stealer. I dabbled in some co-ed softball early in college, but became too busy to commit to it.

Since I pretty much live on the beach, beach volleyball is a favorite of mine. And I took up surfing about five years ago. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and sailing as well (yes, sailing is a sport. It can actually be pretty intense at times). I was dabbling in tennis before my knee got really bad (partially torn ACL= horrible instability when turning/pivoting).

The knee issue put my sports all to a halt, pretty much. Now, I just run (doesn't bother me so long as I'm not turning sharply) and occasionally surf. Though I shouldn't even surf, since there's a twisting motion when I get up. It's a bit of a drowning hazard. But if I drown, I drown. Not giving that up.
