Now, the seriotypical gamer isn't exactly know for seeing much sunlight, let alone commiting themselves seriously to any sport. As a certain web based reviewer phrased it, "Like many gamers, my skeletal structure has the density of Jackob's Cream Crackers."

So, fellow escapists, I pose the question:

Are you regularly involved in any sports, and if so what?

This is all besides gaming, which some could say is a sport. Also, it is regardless of whether you have to or not (e.g. Sports in school.).

I play
1. Basketball .
2. Tae Kwon do and Bo jutsu .
3. Kickboxing.
4. Gymnastics.
5. Parkour, a little, I'm only just starting.

Basketball and Squash mainly. I'm terrible at both but I try anyway, purely for the excuse to prance around like an idiot and swing things.

While I don't play too many sports, I work out on a regular basis and eat very well.

I see I have a fellow bear wrestler in my midst by the name of C Lion, This noble sport of ours is subject to atheletes that are the hallmark of what atheletes can truly be. Screw the Olympics (My country isn't doing that well anyway), the true tradition of sport lies in Bear Wrestling.
Lets see that Phelps fellow stare down a four hundred pound kodiac, armed with naught but his bare hands.

I also used to do Jiujitsu.

Mostly soccer and cycling. I used to do a lot of backpacking and Taekwondo, though.

Random fact: Firefox doesn't like Taekwondo, and the first alternate spelling suggestion it gives is Wonderbra. Discuss.

I wrestle bears, but only at night. I also enjoy recreationally shooting people in the face and having quintuple-bypass heart surgery for two hours every morning to keep myself fit.

Can you guess who I am?

I exercise like a maniac almost every day (except when I'm sore), I do boxing and I play volleyball and basketball rather well (but only casually and not regularly).
However, my favourite activity in the whole world is archery.

I play basketball 6 days a week and I am seriously good at it. That isn't cocky at all...

Also referee basketball, had my brown belt in Judo before I got over it, used to play netball and soccer and do a bit of running every now and then.

I also like to think I'm a fairly good gamer, easily the best out of my friends.

So that makes me neither a jock or stereotypical gamer. Damn, I am awesome.

I thought I dealing with the pasty, pimply internet but by the looks of things the Escapist forums are made up of muscular He-Men (and Women) who like nothing better than a 50 Km run before breakfast then a day of fighting off hordes of Ninja-Bears till dinner. Afterward, for a bit of a warm-down, they then bench press fat people while practicing archery with their feet. (what an awesome game that would make)

I play:
Rugby, Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, I gym frequently, I did Judo and I'm now learning Vale Tudo. I also swim and run for my res against other resses and varsities.
I used to mountain climb, cycle and adventure race but there's no time for that now.

I still feel somewhat inferior to the Bear Wrestlers though, since we have no bears here.

I'm in the marching band, which I consider a sport, we practice in the summer heat, and compete against other schools for trophies... we're a sport and I'll battle anybody who says otherwise
