SPY UPDATE IN TF2!!!

Personally, unless the revolver alternative is amazing, I'll get no use out of this update.
I play spy (main class) very fluently, never stopping and I don't see how purposely getting yourself shot so you can cloak is a good idea.

I will enjoy blasting snipers in the head 3 times instead of running up to them, though.

Force-A-Nature isn't that powerful. It has -20% damage and theres only 2 bullets per clip. It just has knock-back and more bullets in the spread per shot. I can't use it at all.

Okay, they are popular. But not often seen on servers, at least on pubs. Why? Because they are hard to play good ;p Like Medics or Soldiers.

Because people think when using a class.
The team that has 3 pyros is superior to the team with 3 spies.
The two are support classes, 1 of em is enough for a whole team.

the new cloak watch I think its pretty lame. i mean whos not going to choose to have that, wont change gameplay much just will mean more inivisble spys camping in corners, instead of camping ontop of enemy dispensers (like I do).

the other thing is awesome, but this razor back the sniper is getting? wtf. no backstabs... seems like it might be very overpowered, especially if it isn't visable...

Lies! At least with regards to snipers. I can't count the number of times I've jumped into a server filled to the brim with swaggering Australians.

Spies are much more of a rarity. The standing still option will likely give Pyros an even bigger reason to be paranoid... It's good that the spy is seeing some love though.

Then again if you bought a Valve game for anything other than the PC you got a raw deal.

Valve hates ps3's they never do updates or anything.
They don't even port the games themselves they outsource it to other companies because they cant be bothered because it's such a bad console to develop for.

To be honest, I hate playing Spy because the job gets harder as the other players' skill increases. Also, I'm more of a defensive player. Y'know, Engineer, Heavy who stands by a dispenser and just fires non-stop, Soldier who runs around the base and stalls potential attackers, Scout who runs around the base and acts as a very flimsy early-warning system. Every class CAN be used defensively and offensively, and I prefer the defensive. Spy CAN be used defensively by destroying infiltrator forward bases and sentry nests, but again, the better enemy players are, the harder the Spy's job is. It's not that I don't like a hard game, it's that I like being able to get established against attackers, like plonking down and upgrading Sentries and Dispensers.

I can understand why people who have invested in a certain console would want there to be more games for it, but Valve is not the company to provide you PS3 games. They are a PC gaming company.

Of course, that's why I wish that I had a better PC to finally get the Orange Box, but I can't.

But the main thing I'm pissed off at VALVe (more specifically Gabe Newell) is that they gave us PS3 owners false hope of ever getting any taste of L4D aside from a rumour or two. Come on, we know that Gabe hates the PS3 for whatever reason (though I recall reading somewhere where he said "we're reassessing the value of the PS3" though that could be bullshit as well), so why did he give any sort of hope for the PS3?

L4D sold extremely well, they're VALVe for fucks sake! So give us a definitive answer, yes or no?
