Ever heard of a little program named Spyware Protect 2009? Well, it turns out that it actually is a pretty nasty trojan that gets into your system files and messes shit up...

What I wanna know is...

"How do I get rid of it completely?"

Once again, ive got McAfee (which is useless) and i've also got Malwarebytes Anti Malware. I thought the trojan was gone but for some reason it came back. I've gone all over the internet and i'm a little paranoid because everywhere I go, the sites tell me to install some stupid free scanner that does nothing. Frankly, I don't want any more viruses on my computer and i'm very sceptical that these programs are actually legit.

Can anyone help me!

You can actually try using windows restore, after using an antivirus to get things rolling (I personally use AVG.. it's free and half decient!)

Give Nod32 a try. That's what I've been using lately and it's pretty damn good. If that doesn't work use Sys. Restore. And if that doesn't work either you may have to reformat.

I have the same problem right now lol, I just do PC recovery when it happens. Even though it doesn't get rid of it completely

Spyware Protect 2009 can be removed manually too. You don't have to buy any anti-spyware applications. Just complete this manual removal guide: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-spyware-protect-2009.html
