Sqeakers are ruining my game!

Stop screwing up my headshots:

I know this has all happened to you atleast once while playing a shooter. You are online, your team is not doing well. You have a perfect headshot on an enemy. Just a you pull the trigger and Sqeaker shouts into his mic, shocking you, causing you to tilt your scope else where and not only miss your shot, but alert the enemy to you. If not then you have atleast had one on your team, distracting you.

Sqeakers are like 8-10 year old kids who; -have a high pitched voice
-scream into the mic
-constandly curse to sppear older
-annoying...

Most of the time I can't mute them. They cause me to die because I wasn't playing attension. Bad mouth me, or give the most ridicualous argument. They are like a major distraction from the fun game itself.

All we can do know is mute them(if the game allows it). But even then you might get killed or miss a good shot when doing it. Isn't there something we can do about them? What games are they most likely to occur in. Do you have any funny stories involving said Sqeaker?

For me it's always CoD4. And they wonder why I teamkill them...

Yeah I reported the other 2. Anyway, this title is kind of misleading - maybe "Mic. Whores" are ruining the game. Not speakers:

A) People who speak

B) Things that produce sound from electronic devices

And people wonder why the only thing I ever play on Xbox Live is Ace Combat 6. The only 'annoying players' on there are the guys who smoked just a weeeee bit too much weed before logging on.
I'll never quite figure out how AC6 became a haven for potheads.

Console gamers don't get admins. They also get more squeakers, the poor bastards.

Aside from the fact that I instantly mute squeakers first chance I get, I just finished out writing a story about how this one arrogant prick started cussing me out for no reason. Loaded COD4 on bog and I ran his ass down with a hail of bullets. He turned out to be the first kill of that match and logged out immediately.

Get a good friends list and that normally solves the issue

If you want to mute them, then wait until you get killed, then bring up their profile and mute them there. Otherwise, Just find a good hiding spot, then do it.

Muting people's a pain, and frankly you shouldn't have to do it on nearly every server just to have an enjoyable game, but I guess it's the best solution that doesn't open the door for abuse (i.e. vote-kicking).
