Lufia 1 wasn't that good, but Lufia 2 was great fun, for two reasons:
- In dungeons not only are the monsters visible, but you can actually stun them and run past them if you don't feel like fighting.
- As opposed to most jrpgs where every dungeon consists of killing tons of monsters and maybe pulling a switch or two Lufia 2 is filled with great puzzles.
The story is... well, let's just say it won't win any awards (also, it's the same story in all three games...), but that doesn't make the game less enjoyable, strangely.
