They have a sound team????? I figured after Nobuo Uematsu left there sound team was non existant.. He still is one hell of a composer tho.. Probably one of the best in the industry of all time.. Still Square and Square Enix suck now anyways.. Ever since Square joined with Enix after FF9 it went down the shitter.. Perfect examples! FFX! FF11 FF12 FF13... All perfect examples.. But its decline was even before that.. It was after FF6 that they used up all there talent.. There graphics might of gotten better and they may have more options to choose from now.. But there storys are NEVER going to be as good as they used to be.. Simply because they don't have the talent.. There music failed horribly! And i mean horribly in 10.. It was all done before.. Btw if you look real hard at FFX it is EXACTLY and i mean EXACTLY like FF7. Just disguised! Trust me i just beat it yesterday after nearly a decade of not playing it.. And all i could think about was FF7 when playing it. Its FF7 except crampt into a very linear world and you only run forward and tap X the entire game.. Well then again at the Calm Lands you can go left and right to.. And at Macalandia Forest its forward but it kinda winds around.. Anyway. Squeenix has failed me for to long. And for the past 6 years or so they have been giving off BIG signs that its time to end the series..

I guess it makes sense if they're still making music as independents so the games don't totally lose out...but I don't really know, I'm just not sure where Square Enix is going with everything

haven't played their recent games much so I'm not gonna judge yet

Well is seems the cut musicians are still working with Square, so it's all good. And I know I'll love any music associated with a Final Fantasy game (except Dancing Mad, that sucks), it's happened with My Hands in Final Fantasy 13.

High-five for Pavlovian conditioning!

All this means is that Squenix will save money and the composers will get more money themselves. Most likely everyone on that list will go work with Uematsu at his company.

Meh. Nothing will ever replace the void Nobuo Uematsu's departure left in my heart.

Hopefully, FF will still have awesome music.
