Leave it to Squenix to continue to sell the same 2 games again and again and again.
How many times will this game have been released now?

I couldn't agree more. I'm not fond of 3D remakes of 2D classics. I have to admit that I don't think these screens look too bad, although I agree that the characters look a little flat and too smooth. But overall this is a nice little tune up much in the way I would like SE to do a remake of FF7. As long as they keep the overall aesthetic and art style I'm all for it.DrOswald said:I actually like the look. I would rather them not do a 3d remake, those never really work out well in my opinion, and I would rather them do something new instead of just re releasing the same game again.
They have really watered down and killed much of the excitement of the FF brand haven't they? All the remakes, sequels, spinoffs... God, I still remember the excitement of having the new iteration of the numbered releases. FF6,7,8,9,10 and 12 were all great games in my book.FoolKiller said:Leave it to Squenix to continue to sell the same 2 games again and again and again.

Oh... well that's okay then :sTank207 said:At least the sprites don't look quite as bad as that abominable phone remake of FFV. Still it annoys me to no end that this is coming out for phones. FFVI is in my mind the pinnacle of the series, it deserves more than some cheap phone port. I'd like to see a proper remake on a handheld like FFIV got on the PSP at least.

SNES, PSX, Game Boy Advance(which is essentially a bad demake of the original) and now this.
