u no how only part fo the image is revealed, u dont think the will be really ghey and count down to when the enxt part is revealed, and tht there are 4 parts left do you?

i just had this thought come up reading about all the other stupid clocks there have been

tbh im not sure id be that excitied anyway, the only sqeenix game ive really played is FF and they are already making 10 of them at the same time
revealing one piece of the "puzzle" at a time and having a countdown timer for each piece would be a very Square-Enix type of thing to do...
I hope not. 200+ hours for each piece? That's well over a month.

Latest attempt at viral marketing shows a pastoral view, faint midi music, and the number "4"--leading some to link page to "4 Warriors of Light" trademark. A large number "4" is displayed prominently in the meadow to the right, under the timer. By turning up the volume, a faint majestic-sounding MIDI-tune can also be heard. While the theme is unfamiliar, there are hints as to what the game might be. According to the Industrial Property Digital Library--Japan's answer to the US Patent and Trademark Office--Square Enix trademarked the title "Hikari no 4 Senshi" (4 Warriors of Light) this past April. In its description, items ranging from video game software to mobile phone straps and collectible trading cards could be covered by the trademark. One theory is that the aforementioned "4 Warriors of Light" could be related to the original band of heroes in the first Final Fantasy, which was released in 1987 on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Since then, the Final Fantasy series has gone on to sell more than 85 million units worldwide on a host of platforms. Most recently, the PlayStation Network reissue of Final Fantasy VII sold 100,000 copies in two weeks just this past month.

Reports suggest the game could be ?Four Warriors of Light? earlier trademarked by Square Enix while others say it could be Romancing Saga 4; a game that ?allows players to assume the role of one of eight main characters who must journey across the world to prevent the resurrection of an evil god named Saruin who was sealed away a millennium previous.?

this was taken of a website i came across but i am secretly hoping it the xbox 360 remake of FF7

This seems most likly. Possibly a FF1 remake/sequel.

Maybe It'll be something I actually care about. (I don't like SE)
Maybe then don't comment if this is all you're going to say. No offense, its just it adds nothing to the discussion and gives nothing to us in terms of new opinions. Its the same tired bullshit we hear any time JRPGs are brought up.

As for my hope on this... honestly I rather it was a new IP. A new Chrono game would be nice but the Chrono series has never used numbers, and one of the games didn't even have "Chrono" in the title (Radical Dreamers). SaGa seems like the best bet.
Whenever I read "Saga" on the box of SaGa Frontier I always saw "soya" to the point where I was fairly certain the game was called "Soya Frontier".

Maybe it's a completely NEW GAME... and it's just called "4."

No, I don't really think so.
Watch they will do it out of spite now that you have said it...
