Square Enix to put multiplayer in everything

Well Square Enix has announced all it's games are going to have multiplayer from now on. Does mean Final Fantasy is switching to real time battles and getting rid of that turn based bullshit that's so automatic and uninvolving I could train my cat to finish FF13 for me?

I think im the only one on the escapist who actually somtimes only buys game for the multiplayer.. MW2 for example (but later found out single player was just as good)

Isn't their fanbase founded on people who love turn-based combat?
Why would they do this?
