I happen to have aquired original instructional documents from the founder of the style:Hero in a half shell said:Ha, I am a black Boot in Kickinthenutsandrun-fu. I find it has so many uses beside fighting, my favourite being the ability to bring Philosophy graduates down to size,

"Because I can affect you like this- Hi-Ya!" *then around the room was heard the sound of 1000 tiny sperm cry out and being silenced.*
That's awesome, what is it made of? I'm guessing bone or wood.SckizoBoy said:Please bear in mind that this sword is almost 2500 yrs old! (And unsurprisingly a national archaeological treasure of PRC.)
WHAT?! Hell no, it's bronze, with trace amounts of lead, iron, sulphur & arsenic, with different compositions across all parts of the blade. It hasn't tarnished at all (thanks to the scabbard). So that brings up the question: aliens... it was aliens wasn't it?!Hero in a half shell said:That's awesome, what is it made of? Unless it's something along the lines of the following:gabe12301 said:Does a bow count?
IIRC the kris was a Thai assassin's weapon of choice: stab, twist, tang snaps, good luck getting the blade out.Troublesome Lagomorph said:My favorite is the kris. It's awesome.
It's a wonderful blade. Very ornate, the blade itself on mine has some pretty nice engravings. Used to be coated with arsenic back in the day, I believe.SckizoBoy said:IIRC the kris was a Thai assassin's weapon of choice: stab, twist, tang snaps, good luck getting the blade out.Troublesome Lagomorph said:My favorite is the kris. Thanks for the reminder. Hmmm... *grin*
do you shout "GET OVER HERE!" cause if so, then you are a good role model, sir.Dfskelleton said:![]()
I choose Scorpion's kunai on a chain. It's such a simple concept, yet so deadly.
Hell, I don't even think about it anymore. It just happens. When I desire someone to come to me, I say, subconciously in Scorpion's rage filled voice, "Get over here!".blaize2010 said:do you shout "GET OVER HERE!" cause if so, then you are a good role model, sir.Dfskelleton said:![]()

kukri are indeed, a badass weapon. i ranted in a skyrim thread that they need to be involved somehow, though i think they'd be more axe than swordBillCobbett said:Theres a chapter of Schola St George nearby, so what I've learned mostly comes from Fiore dei Liberi's texts. Also I have learned some inayan escrima and jujitsu as well. I think whats most important is to learn a wide variety of different systems, its cool to see where their intersections are and it gives you more of an opportunity to develop your own style.
Edit: Oh! And favorite weapon, forgot that. I love my kukri dearly. Cuts like a boss
