I have now by popular demand aquired a copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Cernobyl, who can go wrong with 8 bucks? Anyway, is the game good on its own or should I install some mods on my first playthrough?
I have mostly heard of mods that make the game prettier or gameplay tweaks and that I can make do without on the first try, I believe. Otherwise feel free to suggest any good mods for it or why I should play the game modded.
