Now I'm all amisty for the good old Spiderman, Iceman, and Firestorm cartoon, when Stan gave his epilogue at the end of every episode. *adds that to his to-find list*

I agree with Stan entirely. I mean hell, you've got people reinventing things like light, fire, water, bullets... all through lines of code. That's some pretty "magic" stuff.

I like Stan, he's so enthusiastic about everything he does, even his godawful reality show.

We've come so far technologically. I was in a lecture yesterday, and we where talking how technological ubiquity is confined, in general, to the G8 nations, and how the biggest growth is coming from South Asia. About then I realised "We live in the future".

I knew saving Stan Lee in MUA2 was a good idea. Anyway, I think he is on to something that we often take for granted. Technology is constantly advancing and making things occur that a decade ago we couldn't have even dreamed of happening. New interfaces, new graphics, a drastically new community, these are all things that we simply regard as part of the norm. Maybe we should sit back from time to time and look at our industry from Stan Lee's perspective. My how far we have come.

Side note: When rescuing Stan Lee in MUA2, bring deadpool with you your second time through as part of your team of four. Just trust me, the extra dialogue from Stan is fantastic.

Well really, computers themselves unless you 100% know the science of them are still psuedo magical when you think of it. Passing electricity through a series of copper and glass bits and processing single programs faster then a human in many cases.
Even knowing the science I stop and wonder: Why the hell does this work!

He gives the field of comic far to little credit, comics tell amazing stories and those stories are only enhanced further(sometimes degraded) when they make the leap to movies and video games. At the present time I would have to say that Batman has seen the best luck when it comes to transference to the two mediums of entertainment.

Then again, I'm also a huge Batman fanboy so take my word with a rather large grain of salt.
I think you're right, but the number of "why do video game movies suck?" threads on this site argues that many stories do not transition well between media.

I loved watching his godawful reality show, just because it was so damn cheesy. Stan the Man is fucking hilarious, especially when gets him on the topic of hot women. He's a dirty old man, and I cannot wait to be like him when I'm an old fart.

Breaking news. Famous person admits he hasn't got a clue what he is talking about when doing promotion work for a video game he had some minor involvement with.

Completely agree.

Gotta love Stan, sometimes you just need somebody who is the complete anti-cynic.

Stan rules, his comics have made a huge impact on generations worldwide.
At 86 it's no wonder he is not up to date with computers and all, but hey, at least he still voices himself ocassionally on Robot Chicken :)

Given how miraculous Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 is, I would have thought that everyone would be too high from playing that to be brought down by me. Celebrity endorsements and super hero comic books are two things that happen to rub me the wrong way. When they combine the power of alien gods are channelled into my power keyboard and I become snarky man. I have no wish to see Stan Lee dead though.

It's great to see that he is embracing new technology, thinking about how it could be used to expand his creativeness, rather than just labeling it as trash, a fad and hoping that it'll go away because he doesn't like it, unlike a certain unpronounceable symbol I couldn't really name...
