Tom Stade is a rising star for me at the moment. I have seen him on TV a few times, but I caught him live the other day. Snorting beer out of my nose has never been funnier.

I just saw Eddie Izzard a couple weeks ago on his latest tour, I'd say he is one of my favorites though he is hardly new to the comedy scene. I also like Dimitri Martin.

I really like Ellen Degeneres. Similar to Eddie Izzard most of her stuff is pure observation which is my favourite kind of comedy. Not that I can't handle sex and swearing, but I think it takes real skill to turn super mundane things into funnies.
I also really like Robin Williams when I'm in the right mood. He gets so frenetic it's awesome to watch.
