My only regret is that I'll have to buy at the very least a new graphics card to run this game. I hoped to do a bit more than 4 years with my 560GTX Ti, to be frank.

I think we should worry less about how big it will supposedly be and more about its endless feature-creep and gross overshooting of its own budget. Just my 2 cents.
Serious. I love space games but Star Citizen is like the only game where I have gotten tired about hearing how many more millions its raised in crowdfunding every other week and what else they are working on now. I just want to scream "Ship it!"

They are shipping it as early as humanly possible. You can pledge right now and for $45 you can download and play the current Arena Commander (Dogfighting) module immediately. In the next couple of months we will see the FPS module released, the social (MMO) module and the first act of the 1 player campaign are also set to be released this year.

The concept of a game needing to be officially shipped is a console one where almost all the content needs to be put on physical media. If you think about the PC titles of the last few years, lots of them now come out in this fashion WoW, League of Legends, DOTA2, or anything 'early access'.

tl;dr Depending on your definition, its shipped now, feature creep is completely irrelevant if the implementation of extra features doesn't delay the core game.

I, for one, am more than happy to have a gaming version of Emperor Caligula.

I just wish it wasn't more than double my monthly cap. xD SOON, my pretty... SOON... or I'm going to become the local Starbucks' favourite/least favourite customer.

Well, I do have 300GB of SSD free today...and I'll probably have 1-2TB of SSD free in 2 years.

I just hope for their sake it lives up to what they promise, or else they have to brace for a major shitstorm out of this world.

100gb Hard disk space is fine, download can be a killer for some.

The SSD requirement is where it gets trickier. 100gb of SSD space is not cheap for one game.
