How many of the escapists have seen Star Trek enterprise, and what were your thoughts on it?

Enterprise was The most recent, and last, addition to the nonstop Star Trek shows.
Enterprise got...a great deal of raging reviews for a number of reasons, in addition to a large number of fans having...issues with the intro (which WAS horrid for a star trek show).
I began watching it when Netflix recently put it up for online streaming and at first I enjoyed it quite a bit, aside from a few flaky characters, they really tried to make something different. seemed to me to be sort of a cross between Star Trek, Firefly, and old school astronaut themes. (nowhere near as good as firefly, but a lot of the themes and technology reminded me vaguely of it).

something bothered me though. and I couldn't put my finger on it for a while. It hit me today: the Vulcans. in my opinion, they depicted the Vulcans so badly that for a hardcore fan, it would be inexcusable. These are not the Vulcans from the original series, or many of the offshoots...these are mellower versions of the Romulans who occasionally talk about Logic, but don't seem to understand what Logic is. They NEVER stop claiming that they have suppressed their emotions...well...why do they sound offended so often?
why do they do illogical things that endanger lives for the sake of...honor, super secret criminal rings, proclaim that stuff is 'impossible' because their scientists cant do it?
the greatest thing about Spock was how objective he was. He approached everything with a level mind, and cut through cloudy situations with a logical point of view. He NEVER thought of something as impossible, only unlikely.
Now whenever there is a episode with Vulcans in Enterprise, I get a sick feeling.

What have the excapist's experiences been with this show?
