I think it could be enjoyable. Seriously, when did Star Wars fans get so sensitive. Everyone loves the Robot Chicken episodes and those God awful Family Guy specials but apparently this (and Galactic Dance-Off) just go too far. Seriously what is the difference between seeing Boba Fett dancing in Galactic Dance-Off and on Robot Chicken. Is it the famous character dancing that offends or do you actually take the time to think about who made it?

Anyway for the actual show, some of the jokes are funny, couldn't help but smile at the Admiral Ackbar thing (it's a super old joke now but they did kind of have a new take on it). Not too keen on the artsyle though. It's something that would work as a comic, you know like something you would find in a Dark Horse omnibus or maybe MAD, but not so much for CG animation.

Why don't they just get the Robot Chicken guys to do another episode? Much less work (on their part), much funnier result :)

I'm not sure what everyone is so worked up about, it had a few funny moments, and it is about 1000 times funnier than the family guy parodies.

Good god people. Who shoved sticks up your butts? It's not like they're trying to market it as Star Wars Episode 7 or anything, it's just a silly animation. Man, if people get so butthurt over this, I wonder how they get through life without whining all the time.

At first I was horrified, then I was glad. I heard Lucas let out in the press that he was doing a star wars sitcom of some sort.

I took all of my Star Wars games, films and such and handed it to my uncool little brother. I can't wait for the Plinket review of this though.

this would be okay if it wasn't canon.

on that note, if I were a writer, I would PURPOSELY fuck up the canon as much as possible.

The style looks like sith, but I still found it humorous. It's the self-parody part I like.

I don't get why people are so pissy. Why is Star Wars the only franchise that isn't allowed to self parody?

Apparently it was developed by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich. The two guys behind Robot Chicken. It makes sense why a lot of the actors from Robot Chicken are also doing this.

I must admit I thought some of the jokes were pretty funny. I have faith in those two and that they will make this show funny.

This is actually quite good. It has a consistent art direction, good animations, some not only good, but even clever jokes...

I'm not sure, but I think many here just hate it, because it is currently en vogue to hate anything Star Wars that is not the original cut of the original trilogy...

I'm not much of a Star Sars fan and i didn't find it that bad. I'm not saying that i'm gonna watch this, but i think kids might like it. It's funny watching fans rage over it, if it's really so terrible then it will fail and will be canceled, if not then just don't watch it and it wont bother you.

Oh come on; if Admiral Ackbar's "trap" part didn't tickle your funny bone, then you need to lighten up and stop taking the Star Wars series so seriously.

I mean, George Lucas certainly didn't after the first 3 movies...

Zingg..

Anyway.. Personally, I enjoyed the trailer and it seems like a great parody film. I'm curious to see more.

That's about all I can think of for this... I sincerely hope that Seth Green had very little to do with this, Robot Chicken was hilarious but this just isn't funny in the slightest...

I don't know, I haven't really taken anything from Star Wars seriously since the original trilogy anyways, so why not? It had a few bits that I found funny, so this may be a thing I pay attention to.

You all loved the trailer and look forward to seeing its inevitable success

Seriously though, I got a smile/chuckle out of some of the gags, its certainly not worth flipping out over.
