I'm going to start this by saying right now- SPOILER WARNING
With this trailer [http://www.gametrailers.com/video/star-wars-spike-tv/59817], LucasArts has now officially announced Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Somehow not dead, and seemingly still in the control of Darth Vader (Why can't the Apprentice just escape if he's still alive? He beat both Vader and Palpatine in the first game...), Starkiller, son of one of the last Jedi and creator of the Rebel Alliance, is due to return sometime in 2010 in order to serve up some more Sith/Jedi/Whatever he is now badassery.
So, thoughts? Did you like the first game? Do you think it deserves a sequel? Even if it does deserve one, do you think it really needs one, or would it have been better without becoming a franchise? Personally, I'm somewhat intrigued- I thought the first one was quite good, but far too short, and I really enjoyed its story, so I'm holding out hope that its sequel will improve on it, though I doubt it will. Honestly, this game strikes me as astonishingly needless, considering that the first one concluded its story so well, leaving practically no loose ends.
