Good news for Star Wars fans, testing for the Old Republic is underway. Its probably on a very small scale right now, but who knows, some people here might get lucky.

As a point of discussion, who's signed up for testing and what part of the game would you like to explore the most? Maybe a certain class, planet, or game area like PvP or flashpoints? Personally, I'd like to know more about companion characters and multiplayer dialogue, but a stroll around Coruscant would be great too. Maybe some plot continuity from KOTOR 1 & 2 as well, but that's probably asking a bit much.

OT: I'm not signed up for testing.

About the game, I'm in a dilemma. Have no idea if it's worth playing when it finally reach release. I'm no big fan om MMORPGs but this sounds intersting.

In all honesty, the most MMO experience I've got is the 2 week WoW trial. The reason I've got high hopes for this game is the KOTOR legacy, as well as Bioware's track record. I still think a single-player KOTOR 3 would have allowed for a more satisfying story, but TOR will hopefully be a great experience nonetheless.

Haha. My MMORPG experience is two years of Tibia. (And yes, you are allowed to make an insult if you like).
I do agree though, KOTOR 3 would have been great! The story could need that as the protogonists in both game just "disappears".

Anyway, Bioware have never dissapointed me so they'll probably won't this time neither.

this is exactly how i feel basically

i signed up for beta but no word on that obviously.

i would have loved to see the MMO aspect of it, as they probably tried to keep old kotor players like me interested, but i'd like to see how they changed it really gameplay/character wise
