So when I first heard about the game a year and a half ago I decided to just blow it off so I didn't create hype about it for myself and be disappointed when I realized that it was going to take 3 years to be released but I digress. I decided to create this thread so we could just talk about the game and it's entirety. Like what classes and side you're going to choose anything you've heard that's interesting about the game and so on and so forth.

It's a shame that it's an MMO, I would have liked to see KOTOR but with MB:W combat. I fell like they've cheated with the setting in how it just takes all the badass parts of Star Wars (clone troopers, large sums of jedi, large sums of sith, droids) without it really making sense. I will in all likelyhood not be getting it, and I'm basing this off of the fact that it's an MMO.

I think it's a cool idea, that may or may not work. I will probably go Dark side at the start, see if I like the story behind it (because there is supposed to be some sort of story), then try out the other side as well. Jedi sounds cool, but I'm wondering how the whole ability to deflect blasters will play into the game. Personally I want to wait for Guild Wars 2, since a free MMO would be really nice.

Well I finally convinced my friends to go Republic using the argument that playing as the underdog is awesome.

I plan to roll smuggler. Don't know about a race yet but I'm leaning towards Twi'lek. If I go Jedi there's no way in hell I'm not selecting Miraluka as my race.

I'm with you on that one but have they released anything on if you will be blind and only be able to see through the force or are they just going to leave it so you can see so it's easier for the users of the race?

From what photos they've shown the game is still presented to you in it's normal style. You're just a Miraluka. All it does is add to the awesome factor.

Well I'm sure they'll cater to us if a first-person view is present. And Miraluka probably get some sort of racial ability as well. :3

with it being bioware tho there might be a special that is "miraluka vision" that gives you force sight (turns the screeen a blue-ish blacklight) and you can do moves 1.5 times faster than most people through the force.

just a thought, but who knows, maybe it is just that simple, regardless miraluka are freakin sweet.

I am most likely going to be a Jedi Consular of some undecided race, and the roll a Smuggler, Jedi Knight and perhaps Trooper(they don't really interest me). After that, and I know that will take a looong time (which is why I love MMO's), I might roll Empire. Then I'll be a Bounty Hunter.

My first character is going to be a jedi knight with my second as a bounty hunter.
