[HEADING=1]Star Wars: Total War[/HEADING]
[small]It seems like only yesterday that the victory bells were ringing, and we'd at last found peace. Five years since the Miracle at Endor, and three since the end of the war. We'd finally done it. The Empire backed down, the Emperor fled to the Outer Rim. The New Republic was back, and things finally were looking up. We could finally look to a tomorrow, a chance to rebuild what we lost.

I guess not anymore. Not since Thrawn showed up. Not since the Outer Rim erupted into total anarchy. Not even the Core Worlds are safe. The Empire is back in business, and they mean it. A dozen worlds were hit last week alone. We're on the back foot, and this time, I don't even think the Jedi can save us....
[/small]
Welcome to Star Wars: Total War, the sequel RP to Star Wars: Cold War [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/540.335797-Star-Wars-Cold-War-Accepting-Profiles]. In this RP, you will join one of four factions, and battle for the fate of the Galaxy. Will you join the New Republic, helping the New Jedi Order retake the Core Worlds? Will you join the Imperial Remnant, reinvigorated from their past defeat by the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn? Or will you join the Sith Ascendants, led by an ancient Sith Master with the intent to slay both the Emperor and the Jedi, and dominate the galaxy for his own? Or will you join the Fringe, the bounty hunters and smugglers, who profit off the war, working for everybody and nobody?

The choice is yours.

This RP will use similar rules to other RP threads, with a few slight alterations.

No Godmodding
This one should be fairly obvious. No pulling deus ex machinas out of your ass to win a fight, respect other player's contributions, and remember that the galaxy does not revolve around you.

Multiple Characters
You will be allowed to use multiple characters in this RP, provided you specify who you are using by placing their name in bold text above their dialogue. IMPORTANT NOTE. Only submit your primary PC's Character Sheet. Secondaries don't need to be submitted. It helps me keep track of the players mostly, and it lends the secondaries a bit more surprise, which can make for some cool developments.

Communication
When communicating with other players, the best way to get their attention is to quote them, indicating a response. Be sure to edit their lines from the quote to avoid clutter. It will look like this.
Additionally, when discussing matters out of context, be sure to add a spoiler tagged with OOC to indicate you are talking. For those who do not know how to add a tag, write spoiler=OOC with brackets around it.

Combat
This being Star Wars, combat is going to be an important part of the RP. However, like with Godmodding, remember to be respectful of the other players. The way I see it, combat should not be used so you can "win", or kill another player, but to instead progress the story. If a character wishes to die, be sure to discuss it with the character's owner. Since you are allowed multiple characters, this is up to the owner to decide who lives or dies.

NPCs
If you really need to get your murdering rampage on, but nobody wants to give up their character or get bogged down in a stubborn back and forth fight, use NPCs. Stormtroopers and droids and other various redshirts can all be used for action purposes, or story elements.

Player Characters Turned NPC
Due to the nature of RPs, oftentimes a person will have to drop out for whatever reason. If so, their characters will be turned into NPCs available to everybody for use until such time as they are killed or the original player wishes to use them again.

Additionally, if a player does not continue to post after a two month period, their characters will subsequently be added to the NPC pool. This way they stay in the story and we don't drop loose ends.

Keep It Civil
Don't throw around posts involving sexual penetration or the like. This is Star Wars, not Star Whores. If you swear in your character, that's fine. If you use Star Wars swearing, even better.

When In Doubt, Consult The Wook
If you are having trouble understanding something in the RP, then Wookieepedia [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page] is your go to guide. This is also incredible handy for picking up obscure references and as a resource for your characters.

Please send character sheets to me via PM. Please use this template when creating your sheet.
Force sensitives are allowed, but be sure to use them fairly. There's no fun if everybody is running around trying to out Force each other.

Faction Affiliation:

There are four factions to choose from, New Republic, The Imperial Remnant, the Fringe, and the Sith Ascendants.

New Republic
Following the vicious Liberation of Coruscant three years earlier, the New Republic and Imperial Remnant have declared a ceasefire. This tenuous Cold War period sees the New Republic attempting to rebuild their lost forces, but they have a strong presence in the galaxy. Coruscant is theirs, and with it comes most of the Core Worlds.

New Republic characters should work towards goals that positively affect their faction, as this Cold War will only last so long. How are they going to improve? That's up to your characters to decide. Players can be anything from X-Wing Pilots to Jedi Knights, and anything else associated with the New Republic.

Imperial Remnant
Surviving the betrayal by Darth Vader on Death Star 2, the Emperor continued his war with the Rebellion, but slowly began to lose ground. The breaking point occurred during the Liberation of Coruscant, where in his ailing health, the Emperor was captured. He was released back to the Imperial Remnant in order to negotiate a ceasefire. To acknowledge this treaty, the Imperial Remnant was allowed an Embassy on Coruscant.

However, spy networks laid by the Imperials are all through Coruscant, and several sympathizers live on the planet. Additionally, Grand Admiral Thrawn, the leader of the Imperial Fleet, has returned from the Unknown Regions, and his plans for a counterattack are coming quickly.

As Imperials, you will be fighting to regain control of your lost territories, either through combat or subterfuge. Again, how this comes about is up to you.

Fringe
This is inevitably where most of you will fall. The Fringe is everything and everyone not tied down. They work as mercs for the Republic or the Empire, or just for themselves. Will they try to tip the balance in one direction or the other, or will they try to profit off of the coming conflict? Again, the choice is yours.

Sith Ascendants
A new faction, rising from the chaos of the Outer Rim. The Sith Ascendants are led by the ruthless Sith Lord Ryn'Talos. They seek to topple both the Jedi and the Sith controlled by the Empire, and wish to build a new society from the ruins of the old.

Several worlds along the Outer Rim have already fallen to the Ascendants, either being paid off or crushed by force. Members of the Sith Ascendant can be Dark Jedi, trained by Ryn'Talos and his Magnaguard saber coaches, clones from his home grown army, or characters from planets conquered by the Ascendants. They seek the destruction of both the New Republic and the Remnant by any means possible.

The year is 9ABY. Five years have passed since the Battle of Endor, which ended with the destruction of the Second Death Star. The Emperor survived Darth Vader's betrayal, only suffering a stab wound instead of being thrown down a reactor. He then escaped, and continued his war against the Rebellion, despite his ailing body.

In 6ABY, the Liberation of Coruscant happened. The New Republic drove the Galactic Empire from the Capital after a grueling space battle, ending when the Emperor was captured by Jedi Knights, who forced the Empire to sue for peace. A tenuous ceasefire had been in effect for several years, but it wasn't to last.

Both the Jedi and the Sith were not so beaten in this alternate timeline. Far more Jedi escaped Order 66, and several Masters have come out of hiding to join Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order. Building a new, smaller Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Luke's order has grown significantly, giving the New Republic the next generation of Jedi defenders.

However, the Sith too have survived. Rogue dark Jedi swearing allegiance to nobody roam the Outer Rim, intent on bringing destruction and Chaos to the galaxy. Corrupt politicians vie for power within the Empire. Criminal syndicates wage war with each other in the shadows. Jedi fall to the dark side as Bounty Hunters track down valuable targets for both factions. Increasing border skirmishes and military buildup are cause for concern.

Things went hot. Grand Admiral Thrawn, returning to the galaxy from exploration of the unknown regions, launched an attack on Coruscant, drawing the New Republic Fleets away from the border to defend the capital. The vacuum allowed the Empire to swiftly retake several planets along the Inner Rim and the Core Worlds, sparking a new war.

While this happened, A ruthless Sith Lord named Ryn'Talos began a shadow war across the outer rim, kidnapping several Jedi padawans to manipulate into an army. His actions have only been halted by a pair of Jedi desperately trying to end the conflict and save their friend, Pana'Gella, who has fallen to the Dark Side and become the Sith Ascendant's Queen.

The pieces are set in place, and now it is time to watch them fall.

This post will contain updated rules and notices as time goes on. Feel free to PM me with any questions you might have.

We will always be accepting new profiles, and any player can jump in at any time. It's a big galaxy, and there's lots of stories to tell.

A big thanks to Tiger Sora for getting the idea to make this sequel RP in the first place.

UPDATE: Okay, we've got twelve characters, so we're set. I'll kick things off on Monday, and I'll PM each of you to let you know we're starting. I have a lot on this weekend, so it isn't the best time for me to launch, but Monday seems like the best time right now.

There are several stories taking place during this time period. Since this is a more free form RP, you can begin your own stories, and I will track them here. If you need a quick summary of events happening along your storyline, or you wish to integrate into another storyline, this is where you should come first.

Dealing With Domerius
-An Imperial Inquisitor named Domerius stirred up trouble across Coruscant when he hired several bounty hunters and assassins to target criminal syndicates and Jedi sympathizers.

-Tarr Voxin was hired to capture a Jedi bartender by the name of Triz Maston. To this end, he enlisted Mandalorian huntress Kottal to aid in his quest. During the attack, Voxin captured bounty Krean Villik for the Hutt Cartel, but Triz Maston escaped following an explosion in the bar. Voxin's ship was damaged by Jedi Master Xyras and rogue Akim Jardde.

-Nova Thanewulf hired by Domerius to spy on arms dealer Rugal Bernstein. Rugal intercepts Nova and attempts to pay her off, but she refuses. Satisfied with her answer, Domerius tells Nova to return to the Imperial Embassy

-Irritated with Domerius' games, Rugal heads to Domerius' embassy to meet him personally. Senator Caster, furious with Domerius, enters the room and kills the treacherous Inquisitor before offering a job to Nova and Vorir. Akim steals a datapad from Domerius' corpse and escapes. Rugal moves onto other targets.

Rugal and the Circle
-Intent on stealing vital data from the Circle criminal syndicate, Rugal Bernstein uses an advanced operative to try and steal the Deus-EXM plans, an experimental Super Star Destroyer Dio Alcatraz was planning to build. Lady Fontaine captures the operative and kills him before he can use his bionic arm. The body is returned to Rugal, where a bomb inside the corpse kills his butler.

-Rugal declares an open bounty on all Circle members, and begins preparations for his next strike against them. Dio and Fontaine Alcatraz retreat to the Circle Stronghold, a private space station above Coruscant. They take Rugal's experimental Bionic Arm weapon with them.

-Agent Strider infiltrates the Circle Stronghold to retrieve the Bionic Arm and steal the Deus-EXM plans.

-Aware of Strider's presence, Dio throws the bionic arm into space and deletes the majority of the Deus-EXM plans to deny him his prize. Strider manages to retrieve a corrupted version of the Deus-EXM plans, and jumps into space to grab the bionic arm. Mission ends with Strider returning the Bionic Arm prototype to Rugal.

Boorka's Bounty
-Dio Alcatraz hires Xyras Varik, Pana'gella, and Hann Polien to assassinate Boorka the Hutt, a senior member of the Hutt Cartel.

-Rugal Bernstein becomes aware that Boorka is in danger, and plans to stop the mercenaries from finishing their plan.

-Dio Alcatraz offers several supplies to the trio, including a Firespray Transport. After aiding Triz Maston with the Firespray, Xyras returns to the others, who set off for Tatooine, a Hutt Stronghold.

-During the trip, Jedi Master Xyras becomes aware of Pana's force powers. When she mentions her old lightsaber was found in a wreckage, Xyras begins having visions in his sleep of a battle between a Jedi Knight known as Khar, and a rogue Nautolan Force User called Ryn'Talos.

-On Tatooine, Hann and Xyras plan a trap for Boorka, while Pana encounters Rugal, who had caught up to them at Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley. Pana escapes by tapping into the Dark Side of the Force, threatening to bring down the cantina on the both of them. After being rescued by Xyras pretending to be a Sith, Pana steals Rugal's datapad, giving them Boorka's location.

-Discovering that Boorka is hiding on Nam Chorios, Hann jumps to hyperspace, with Rugal in hot pursuit. Meanwhile, a dark presence begins to grow in Pana's mind following her outburst.

-Xyras continues to have visions, showing Khar and Ryn'Talos' friendship turn to anger, with Ryn falling to the dark side, slaying Khar. Xyras realizes too late that Pana's old Lightsaber was Ryn'Talos' blade, somehow keeping him alive for six hundred years.

-Ryn'Talos, drawn by Pana's inner darkness, confronts the trio on Nam Chorios, paralyzing Xyras and Hann before engaging Pana in a duel to test her potential. Pana causes a Force Storm that destroys Boorka the Hutt's ship, killing her and everyone on board.

-Rugal organizes a group of frigates to meet him over Nam Chorios, using Ysalamiri to block the Jedi's Force Powers. Upon exiting Hyperspace and strafing Hann and Xyras' ship, Rugal's forces are attacked by the Liberator, a refitted Venator Star Destroyer bought by Pana.

-Rugal is caught in the explosion, but survives, his broken body parts replaced with Bionic weaponry. Pana decides to join Ryn'Talos on Kamino. After repainting her Venator green, she follows her new master to the water world to begin her training as a Dark Jedi.

-Hann and Xyras escape from Nam Chorios, and Xyras explains his visions to Hann. Hann admits that he has been having visions as well. Xyras is interested, and expresses his wish to train Hann as a Jedi, so they may stop Pana from causing more destruction. They return to Coruscant.
The Bionic Jedi Battle
-On the trail of the fallen Jedi Pana'Gella, Xyras and Hann are attacked by a cyborg Rugal Bernstein and his Bionic Arm Troopers outside the Jedi Temple.

-After fending them off and Xyras managing to force Rugal to back off, Rugal puts a bounty out on Pana and Ryn'Talos.
To Train A Jedi
-Xyras and Hann travel to the Jedi planet of Ilum, where Hann shall create his own lightsaber, and Xyras will confront his visions.

-Inside, Hann encounters a beast while searching for a crystal. Upon its retrieval, he heads to the Jedi Workshop to begin his construction project.

-Xyras wanders the Temple's crystal caves, until a ghostly image of the long dead Jedi Master Khar comes before him. Khar opens Xyras' eyes; Xyras has put too much focus on fighting with physical force over the Living Force. Satisfied that his lesson was learned, Khar presents Xyras with a jet black lightsaber crystal.

-Xyras and Hann construct their new sabers; Hann's, a brilliant blue, Xyras', an inverted shaft of light. The two prepare to leave the temple, when they feel a disturbance in the Force.

-Ryn'Talos arrives on Ilum, killing three of the Temple's keepers before attacking Hann and Xyras. Hann taps into the Temple's energy field, and overwhelms Ryn'Talos for a moment, throwing him off a landing pad. Aware that the Sith are after them, Hann and Xyras prepare to leave before Ryn'Talos returns.

-Ryn'Talos survives the fall, and his reinforcements arrive. Hann and Xyras manage to escape Ilum, but the temple is lost, and the Sith Ascendants slaughter the remaining Jedi, turning the temple into their new base.
Cold War: Caster's Machinations
-After killing Domerius, Senator Caster Udea hires Nova Thanewulf and Vorir Beldra to perform a hit against an official from Naboo, Carth Dyrvan. In order to throw blame off of the Empire, Caster sets up a second target. The target is none other than Caster himself.

-As Vorir and Nova leave to plan the assassination, Caster makes contact with a person known as Black King. Caster's chess motif organization plans to place blame for the assassination attempt on the Hutts.

-Vorir warns Nova to be weary of Caster's intentions. His longtime experience has taught him to watch his back, and he feels that Caster is up to more than he lets on.

-Nova disguised as a Senator, and Vorir shapeshifted into another, meet with Caster in the Plaza outside the Grand Convocation chamber to discuss final preparations for the attack. They head towards the Senate for the job.

-At the middle of Caster's speech, Vorir kills Dyrvan and successfully wounds Caster. Nova fires a rocket as a distraction, and the two begin their escape in the ensuing chaos. Nova and Vorir meet up on the way out.

-Nova is forced to flee from Vorir when the pair are stopped by a Jedi. Vorir soon follows, and the pair make a break for the speeder bay with the Jedi in hot pursuit.

-Vorir bids Nova farewell, disappearing into Coruscant's undergound just as Thrawn launches an assault on Coruscant. Nova manages to escape detection and grabs everything she can before fleeing the planet.

-Knowing that Thrawn will be after him, Caster manages to fake his death, replacing his body with a human replica droid. The distraction gives him enough time to make his escape on a shuttle, fleeing to Obroa Skai.
Cold War: A Hero Returns
-At Bastion, the new capital of the Imperial Remnant in the Outer Rim, Grand Admiral Thrawn returns after a six year absence in the Unknown Regions.

-Meeting with the Emperor on the planet's surface, Thrawn discusses his new purpose as leader of the Imperial Fleet, as well as hinting that he found something of use to the Empire in the unknown regions.

-Tarr Voxin, on the run and looking to cash his Villik bounty, is intercepted en route to Tatooine by Thrawn, who offers him employment. Voxin is tasked with breaking apart pirate groups across the Outer Rim, and forcing the survivors to work for the Empire as part of Thrawn's plan to seize control of New Republic Worlds.

-Thrawn receives a message from the Emperor ordering him to accelerate his plans. Pana has become a threat, and the Dark Adepts have been deployed to hunt her down. Thrawn has been ordered to see that Caster is eliminated for his power play in the Senate. Thrawn gives the order to make for Byss, an Imperial World located in the Deep Core.

-Imperial fleets begin massing around Carida and the Bilbringi Shipyards, along the Colonies Border and New Republic Territory.

-Tarr Voxin is ordered to Coruscant by Thrawn, where Imperial Intelligence tasks him with disabling a Coruscant Traffic Control tower, while separate operatives perform other vital tasks.

-A second Bounty Hunter, Delras Zex, reaches his target CTC tower, and uploads a virus into the main system before taking off again.
The New Sith Army
-On Nam Chorios, Pana agrees to become the apprentice of the Sith Lord Ryn'Talos. He orders her to travel to Kamino, where he will reveal his plans.

-On Kamino, Pana and Ryn explore an abandoned city Ryn has converted into his fortress. Here, he reveals his army. Magnaguard droids trained in lightsaber combat will be battle instructors. Legions of Clone Troopers created using abandoned cloning vats and corrupted by the Dark Side will serve as shock troops, alongside countless Super Battle Droids built from old foundries.

-Ryn tasks Pana with gathering initiates for Sith training. Pana travels to Coruscant, where she uses the Force to kidnap one hundred of Luke Skywalker's youngest students, and bring them back to Kamino. Here, they are forced to fight to the death until twenty have died. The rest will be instructed in the ways of the Sith.

-During this time, Ryn'Talos travels to Felucia, and attacks an Imperial base on one of the moons. He plans to incite chaos and multiple uprisings across the Outer Rim by stealing vital military information. He returns to Kamino to inspect the intiates training.

-Pana and Ryn'Talos travel to Ryloth, where they once again butcher an Imperial Outpost. However, this time, the Empire is waiting for them. A group of Dark Adepts, led by Jasta, attack Pana on Palpatine's orders, only to be killed once Ryn enters the fight.

-Ryn believes that Pana's Jedi status can be used to discredit Skywalker's Jedi Order. But they must eliminate those who know the truth. Ryn orders Pana to kill Rugal Bernstein, while he will kill Xyras Varik and Hann Polien.
-Thrawn's fleet jumps out of Hyperspace, catching the New Republic off guard. The fleet tears into Coruscant's defenses, one Star Destroyer entering the atmosphere to assault the traitorous Imperial Embassy while the rest of the fleet stays in orbit to engage the scrambling defenses.

-Sensing that Rugal is in danger, Hann and Xyras find themselves caught up in the battle. Pana's sudden appearance in the Liberator only complicates things, but she is forced to call off the chase when the Imperial Fleet threatens to destroy her ship. Hann, Xyras, and Rugal manage to slip through the fleet battle and escape to Tatooine.

-Voxin and Zex crash into each other in the confusion. After learning that they were paid, the two decide to form a partnership, and flee from Coruscant, heading for Nar Shaddaa in search of new jobs.

-Nova Thanewulf heads for Druckenwell to search for new jobs in the suddenly very violent galaxy.

-The Circle Station is blown out of Coruscant's Orbit, Dio Alcatraz being the only survivor, having left his sister to die on the exploding station.

-Having Caster's supposed body in hand, and the Imperial Fleets' attacks along the Inner rim being successful, Thrawn pulls his force away from Coruscant, giving the New Republic time to lick its wounds while the Remnant consolidates their new holdings.

-Overseeing the cleanup, Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn being making plans to send Jedi on missions across the galaxy, to keep the peace and defend the New Republic wherever they can. Hopefully, they will find their missing students as well.

-Heading to Nar Shaddaa, Tarr Voxin and Delras Zex take a job by the Vosadii Hutt Clan to capture a rival clan leader named Jaralla. Gasanda Vosadii wants him alive. Tarr discovers that Jaralla is hiding on the planet below, Nar Shaddaa. He and Zex begin making preparations for the job.

-At the same time, Nova Thanewulf takes a job from Blastech to hunt Gasanda.
-Having fled to Obroa Skai, Caster plans to use the famous library the planet is known for to being preparation for his next scheme.

Escapist Name: Captain Pirate
Character Name: Xyras Varik
Character Age: 64 (Since the average Farghul lifespan is 215, this is relatively young)
Race: Farghul, a cat-like humanoid.

Occupation: Jedi Master

Appearance: Xyras is tall, nearly 6"6, and has brown fur with black stripes. His eyes are a stark grey, and he wears a Jedi-style light kilt. the only other clothes he wears are some metal, bronze-coloured bracers, and two straps around his upper waist, which hold his lightsabers.

Backstory: Xyras was born in 45 BBY, on Farrfin. His early displays of force powers scared his parents, who knew little of such things, and when the Jedi Order came looking for him they practically handed Xyras to them at the door without a word. He was trained as a Jedi, and fought throughout the Clone Wars, acquiring a well-deserved reputation for his expertise with Lightsabers, and his stalwart honour and fearlessness made even the Sith he fought respect him. He became a Jedi Knight not long before the Great Jedi Purge.

When the newly-crowned Darth Vader appeared leading the 501st Battalion up the stairs of the Jedi Temple, Xyras was among the first to lead a fighting charge back. With his saber skill he slew many Clone Troops, but as the Jedi were slaughtered around him, he came to the realisation that he was fighting a losing battle.

Swallowing his pride and the code of honourable combat he had maintained his entire life, he fled from a fight for the first time, using his feline agility to claw his way down the side of the Jedi Temple and into the alleys of Coruscant.

Knowing the Jedi had been betrayed and nearly eradicated, he went into hiding on Utupau, all but abandoning his Jedi ways in favour of gambling in a back-street bar in a sinkhole city.
It wasn't until the Battle of Yavin and the destruction of the first Death Star that he decided to take up the mantle once more, and he joined the Rebel Alliance.

Upon the Empire's defeat and the re-emergence of democracy, and more importantly the Jedi Order, he returned to it immediately, training the younglings with his mastery of Lightsaber combat and retelling tales of the legendary Clone Wars.

Personality: Xyras is quite a calm, focused man, and one who's trust is difficult to gain. Once earned, however, he is an invaluable and firm ally. He is known for his honour in battle; having only fled from one fight his entire life, and never underestimating an opponent, regardless of which side of the Force they reside. He never taunts his foes.
He is largely humourless, rarely partaking in festivities or fun, and instead preferring to meditate with the Force.
He finds it immensely difficult to put himself in other peoples shoes, and rarely troubles himself with emotion.
He has a strong moral disposition, and will try and avoid the loss of life if possible. However he does this not because of a want or personal care, but simply because it is Jedi code to protect people.
He will come to the aid of those who have gained his trust in a heartbeat.
He has a personal vendetta against Darth Sidious and the Sith, as it was he who orchestrated the original eradication of the Jedi.

Skills: As mentioned, Xyras is a formidable warrior, specifically in Lightsaber combat, but even unarmed he utilises all his limbs and his sharps claws to deadly effect. Xyras is also a wise and powerful wielder of the Force, particularly the act of listening to the Force for guidance.
Having very sharp claws, Xyras can use this natural ability coupled with trust in the Force to allow him to climb walls, and even

Faction: Jedi Order. He supports the Republic, though he is very wary of politics a he was around when Darth Sidious took over, and is still very much aware of just how quickly the tides can change.

Equipment: Xyras prefers to carry little on him, and only carries a few pouches of essentials around his belt, and his two curved handled blue lightsabers.

Escapist Name: Tiger Sora
Character Name: Nova Thanewulf
Character Age: 24
Race: Shistavanen (Wolfmen)
Occupation: Bounty Hunter

Appearance: Stands a clean 6 feet at the top of her head. Her ears are quite long and would put her at 6'5" if they stood up, but they usually point more backwards. Long muzzle. Sleek build. Silver-grey, white fur. Ice-blue eyes. Two blue locks of hair on the front of her mane, rest is silver. Lightly armored.

Backstory: (2 ABY, age 17) Taken under the wing of Holg Dimatrist, an honorable grizzled old Bounty Hunter working inside with law. Trained under Holg for 3 years on various different worlds, mostly mid-rim. (5 ABY, age 20) Nova is detained by the Governor of the system. Apparently Holg had been a thorn in this dudes side for years. So under threat of death she is forced to hunt down her master, which she does. But when she found him, she explained what had happened. They devised a plan of deceit, which got Holg off world. Nova brought the governor a bloodied helmet belonging to her master. He was pleased with it and spared her life. Which amazed her due to old Imperial types xenophobia. Nova was quick to leave the system after all this. And she's yet to see her old master since.

On Coruscant Nova undertook several jobs for the Imperials. Most notably the Senate Assassination Job with fellow Bounty Hunter Vorir. Everything went well up until the escape, when a Jedi intercepted them. They were forced to flee until Vorir convinced Nova to fight back against the superior foe. She would never fight fair with such uneven odds so she used an underhanded trick to kill the Jedi, taking his lightsaber as a reward.
Everything they'd accomplished was dashed once they gotten outside and witnessed an Imperial Star Destroyer firing on the city. Everything went to hell in a hand basket. Castor had gone into hiding, security had risen drastically in the days after Thrawns attack and she was being hunted as an enemy of the New Republic. So she fled off world and reached out for something in the chaos engulfing the galaxy to latch on to.

Personality: Unlike most of her race, Nova is somewhat sociable. But most don't want to talk to a wolf girl Bounty Hunter who could rip your throat out, whos been known to do that.
She doesn't care for most people, they can live or die. The strong live the weak die by the droves. She's not a psychopath though for thinking the way she does. It's how she was brought up.

Skills: Greater strength, speed, senses, Heals quicker from injuries. Night vision. Can run very fast and very far on two or on all fours without tiring much. (These are all racial, Wookie wiki says so).
Can fight with tooth and claw.
Stealthy and a fair shot. (No Stormtrooper academy, lol)

Faction: Non-aligned, works for whoever pays more. Likes to play for the baddies more so cause they don't care usually how the job is done.

Equipment: Fibrosteel grappling hook belt. 4 MP-L44 rapid fire blaster pistols. One conventional, selective fire pistol and ammunition (Considered to be ancient and archaic. Works well if your target hides behind an anti laser shield). Electro-stun grenades. Heavily modified Huntsuit. Lightsaber.
Escapist Name: Stalydan
Character Name: Hann Polien
Age: Early 20's
Race: Human
Occupation: Former Republic Marksman and Relief Worker. Jedi Apprentice to Xyras Varik.
Appearance: Sickly looking individual with short blonde hair and green eyes. About 5'9" in height and around 120 lb.
Backstory: Growing up during the Imperial Period, Hann witnessed the tyrannies of the Galactic Empire first hand. Upon his 16th birthday, he caught the first ship off Coruscant and joined the Rebel Alliance. Serving in a number of battles and reconnaissance missions, Hann has learnt to cope with the harsh realities of war and battle and adjust to high stress situations. After the battle of Endor, he left his war position to become a civilian relief worker back on his home world. As of the events of Cold War, Hann has trained in the ways of the Jedi after discovering latent Force Sensitivity on his travels with Xyras and Pana. His new mission has become to ultimately take down the ancient Sith Lord Ryn'Talos, a Nautolan who turned Pana to the Dark Side and wishes to take over the galaxy.
Personality: A kind spirited individual, he never intends to cause harm or disputes. In battle, he will try to act professional and tactical though he will occasional disobey direct orders when he believes he is in the right. Though he sometimes is, he hasn't always been, causing self doubt on occasion of his insight.
Skills: Expert aim with most long range weapons. He is also able to hold his own in one-on-one combat, both armed and unarmed. Hann also has basic Force powers such as being able to push objects and see visions in his dreams and during meditation. He does however show potential to learn much more. Other skills include basic piloting abilities of small spacecraft.
Faction: New Republic and New Jedi Order
Escapist Name: Mortis Nuncius

Character Name: Subject 37 - Vorir Beldra

Character Age: 28

Race: Clawdite (Changeling)

Occupation: Largely an Imperial Assassin, Occasional Freelance Worker.

Appearance: 5'10"; rough, dark-green skin; yellow eyes with a distinctive gold ring in the inner irises. Wears a tan leather jumpsuit with a thin, black synthetic jerkin over it. The jumpsuit is made of several sections with elastic fibers between each section to facilitate changes in body shape. Also wears custom-fitted SureGrip gloves and boots.

Backstory: At a young age, he was taken away from his home and was brought to an isolated Imperial testing facility on an asteroid. He and dozens of other Clawdites of varying ages were being studied and tested to find viable means for rapid production and reduction of cells in order to alter (or at least give the appearance of altering) one's mass. The purpose of the experiment was to create a changeling that could perfectly mimic the form of nearly any individual.
The facility was the closest thing to a home that Vorir ever had, and he remained there until adulthood. For the time he spent there, he was forced to follow a daily regiment of strenuous physical exercises and complex mental exercises. He was fed a strict diet of health foods and was given genetic supplements, along with the daily injections. After the first two years, the injections became a bi-weekly ordeal, then after that two-year period they became weekly, and so on and so forth. It became clear that not all subjects were given the same injections when after the course of a few years, few of the subjects became deathly ill and were disposed of accordingly. Vorir was one of the more fortunate ones.
The the later half of the Clawdite's time in the facility was spent with intense combat training and rigorous shapeshifting excercises. The shifting trials were timed and harshly judged; any discrepencies were met with swift corporal punishment and multiple occurances were dealt with by reduced rations and more rigorous training. If one hadn't adapted well-enough to their administered compound and showed little-to-no improvement, they were 'relieved' of their assignment and those given the very same compound were put under even more extreme scrutiny than was usual. Over time it was clear that the others showed the same results and were also 'relieved'. Again, Vorir was one of the more fortunate ones; few, they were becoming.
Some of the later forms of training were becoming specialized in long-range weaponry and the use of explosives. It was here that Vorir really shone. He had a level of finesse and sleight of hand that put him above all of the other subjects. Disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, loading, accurate firing, reloading, and more accurate firing were processes that were branded into his memory. Speed became his virtue, accuracy became his law. He applied the same principles to the mechanics of explosives and he honed his skill to the point where he could make an improvised explosive from scrap metal and the right chemical compounds. The rest of Vorir's training was fairly simple, consisting of basic field operations/equipment and space-navigation.
By the end of it all, only a handful of subjects survived. The few that were left, Vorir included, were given assignments according to their specilizations. Being proficient in the preparation and execution of long-range combat and demolitions, Vorir was given assignments accordingly. For the next several years, he'd be working under the order of the Empire while simultaneously working freelance when he has time and/or needs the money.

Personality: Thought Vorir was trained as an efficient killing machine, he isn't entirely devoid of emotion. He does, however, do an exceptional job of hiding it. He isn't as socially awkward as one might think, given his general lack of a social life, but he has his moments. Over the years, he's found a sarcastic, and somewhat tasteless, sense of humor in his work. He takes great pride in what he does, essentially putting power into the hands of whomever he chooses (though being in the pocket of The Empire greatly reduces his options). He acknowledges that he cannot have such power, for he knows how it can change people, but he relishes in the fact that he can control its distribution. His attitude towards The Empire is a mixture of respect, hatred, resentment, and gratitude. He has great respect for their fearlessness, but hatred for their misuse of their power. Resentment for the innocents he's had to kill, but gratitude for what it makes him. He's given much thought to breaking off his ties with The Empire and going completely freelance, but they pay too well.

Skills: Expert marksmanship and extensive use/knowledge of explosives. Nearly unmatched shapeshifting prowess. More complex transitions cause much discomfort and if changes in bone structure were to be made, it would be considerably painful.

Faction: Largely Imperial, but will accept work from almost anybody.

Equipment:
- Standard Utility Belt
- Barabel Microbe armor (replaces jerkin when in use).
- Personal Cloaking Device w/Sound Dampening Stealth Capabilities.
- Hologram Generator (designed to mask the clothing of the user).

Weaponry:
- DXR-6 Disruptor Rifle fitted with zoom-scope for heightened accuracy (is kept on a shoulder-sling; ammunition kept in utility pouch).
-DX-2 Disruptor Pistol (is holstered on his left hip; ammunition kept in utility pouch).
- Prototype QuietSnipe Mag-Pellet Rifle (is holstered on his right hip when gun is collapsed and not in use; ammunition kept in utility pouch).
- (4) C-22 Fragmentation Grenades (are kept in utility pouches).

Spacecraft: MRX-BR Pacifier Scout Vessel.

Escapist Name: TheIronRuler

Character Name: Julia Chernayev

Species: Human

Age: 23

Occupation: Independent drug dealer, new on the block.

Appearance: She's 5'8, has long red hair and a pale complexion. Her eyes are green; she is well endowed and thin. She wears different sets of clothes for different occasions, though you would normally find her wearing a slightly revealing top alongside denim shorts and black pantyhose with flat shoes .

Backstory and Important Information: It was supposed to be a simple delivery. "You come, exchange the briefcase, get out" they told Julia. "You are the only human I have" her master told her. That damned Hutt.

Julia did not remember her childhood, or most probably, she did not want to remember it. Whether or not she was rescued or kidnapped from her parents is unknown to her. She was under the care of Gregori Desilijic Aleppo, a great Hutt crime lord. When she grew older she would often greet the guests who came into Gregoris' chambers, and when she became more appealing she would wear more revealing clothes to please the human-like guests.

As a result of meeting so many different species, she was fluent in many alien languages and knew all of the cultural differences between the different races. Her ability to charm those that were about to negotiate with the great crime lord of the Desilijic clan became a valuable asset and so with that Gregori decided to educate her even further.

At the age of twenty three, she left the planet for the first time to comply with her masters' request. She would wait for another human, like her, to exchange a briefcase with him, but soon after she had spotted the other man she was supposed to meet, he was shot. A fight broke out between what appeared to be mandalorian mercenaries from the other party and that Hutts' personal army, a group of Barabels and Aqualish. That damned Hutt wanted to have all of it and that briefcase was tied to her wrist. She barely escaped the gunfight and left the scene, running towards the nearest star-port.

Armed with only her wit and a briefcase, she managed to untie her hand with the help of some shady characters and retrieve the item from within. She set out on her own for the first time, that precious item stowed away in some special place where nobody could find.

Now she seeks to find the truth behind the event that changed her life and confront Gregori once more. Perhaps she would come time him as his daughter, or his end.

Skills: She is very charismatic. She knows many alien languages and also the subtleties and culture of each one. She is a brilliant chemist ? she knows how most of the synthetic drugs work and can cook them herself. She is an adept engineer .

Equipment: She carries a small blaster pistol that is tucked in an undisclosed location. She has a pink handbag in which she keeps the tools of her trade and some samples of her work.
Faction Affiliation: None.
Escapist Name: Redryhno
Name:Grissk
Age:22
Race:Trandoshan
Occupation:Sith Warrior

Appearance:average height and weight, dark brown, almost black scales. bright amber eyes. Wears

Backstory:Born on Hsskor, Grissk was then taken off-world by Imperial slavers during a raid when he was 8, and was subsequently raised/experimented on by a Sith Lord until he was 10 and it became clear to him that he was Force-sensitive. This puzzled the man, because as far as he knew there was no previous evidence to suggest it, though he took the young Trandoshan and began teaching him the doctrines of the Dark side, which Grissk lapped up quickly and eagerly, never once questioning them and thoroughly enjoying his time spent out of the cage, but he plotted revenge for the loss of favor with the Scorekeeper. He continued to listen to the man's preachings for another 6 years, before he attacked him and killed him, almost by accident as it was.

Grissk traveled the galaxy afterwards until he came upon a small conclave of Sith, and after killing a few of them after demanding he answer where he got his lightsaber, he was knocked down by their master, Ryn'Talos and absorbed into the group simply for Grissk killing some of his more... energetic apprentices. The Sith's lightsaber was taken from him and he trained with the conclave for another 4 years, meeting all that was thrown at him with the same enthusiasm as he had before, though it was different, as he consented to stay of his own will and not because of capture.

He eventually earned his own lightsaber, replacing the one he took from the dead man, this one double-bladed, to better use his considerable strength, though he has found that he still prefers a Trandoshan forged weapon as opposed to it and as such, carries one on his back, both as a weapon when his presence as a Sith is not to be known and as a disguise, to keep people from giving him more than a second or third look.

He follows Ryn'Talos almost fanatically, content in that he has a place in society, and the opportunity to overthrow the Empire that first captured him, he approaches with relish.

Personality:Grissk tries to emulate every doctrine of the Sith, and as such, rarely allows himself to keep calm, but he does enjoy to make fun of someone that doesn't know it. He will follow an order from Ryn'Talos or one of his subordinates without question, sure of it's veracity.

Skills:Grissk is a competent pilot and engineer, he has his own small ship he took from the Sith that first imprisoned him and has kept it in good condition since, but he's not any kind of genius, he just knows where stuff is supposed to go and how it's supposed to look. He is a good swordsman, either with saber or the sword he carries on his back, using his strength and arm length to full advantage. Not much of a linguist, he speaks only his native language, and the language of the Sith.

Equipment:a double-bladed saber with a blue crystal(he's always found blue to be a curious color) he normally keeps hidden on his person and a double-bladed sword he keeps on his back, he wears the armor of a bounty hunter when trying to keep his cover, as there are few Trandoshan sensitives, he is mostly hidden from scrutiny beyond the fact that he is Trandoshan.

Faction Affiliation: Sith Ascendents
Escapist Name: Drmigit2

Character Name: Radran Drokath

Species: Zarbak

Age: 26

Occupation: Sith Assassin

Appearance: His skin is the sith red and black, like all Zarbak he lacks hair but instead has horns, his happen to extend about 6 inches going towards the back of his head. To the passerby, he is no sith, in fact he wears a trader uniform and often uses disguise and guile to get around. While he does have a sith tattoo, it is located on his chest and it is generally assumed by him that you wont be seeing that.

Backstory and Important Information: As a young child he was picked up by Ryn'Talos, more like kidnapped but all the same. His powers quickly outshone the other sith but in ways unexpected. He showed mercy in his final duel against the other apprentice, even though he knew the other one would have given him no such amnesty, his master did beat him for it, his powers got to the point where he could no longer argue. This made Drokath the perfect spy for the Sith, the small speck of good in him allowed him to blend in with even the Jedi to assure his mark was made. He is not above using the force to manipulate those who would otherwise oppose him to his will, which got to the point where he could convince the less intelligent or force savvy to commit suicide, and had happened a few times in the past. He never bothered with lightsaber training to a large extent and is fairly weak with one. In fact, he often carries a blaster, though he says it is for completing his look of a trader. Currently, he is between missions and is training to be more proficient with his weapon.

Skills: Almost any ability force related, especially manipulation. Though force push, pull etc are all available to him at a large extent, as well as lighting and inspiring fear in an enemy.

Equipment: Varies, but he usually looks like a common citizen, with his lightsaber stowed away in his pack instead of on a hilt like most. Instead he carries a blaster commonly with him and is surprisingly good with it for a Sith.

Personality: He is not the brooding dark sith lord that we come to know from Vader, he is quite friendly actually and makes friends easily. His outward personality is much more Jedi-like than Sith, but he revels in the power and honestly believes that the Sith would be better fit to rule than the Jedi and that the Empire did, and still does it wrong.

Faction Affiliation: Sith Ascendants.
Escapist Name: TheBlueShotgun0

Character Name: Del Karcot

Species: Human

Age: 28

Occupation: Commodore in the Imperial Fleet

Appearance: Light brown hair, green eyes, white skin, about 1.6 meters tall.

Backstory and Important Information: Del grew up on Daalang, a modest Mid Rim world dotted with cities and towns. Born in 11BBY, Del grew up as a citizen of the Empire and was very patriotic of his government. Although the galaxy as a whole was a dictatorship, Daalang itself was a republic, though a corrupt one to say the least. This corruption was visible to Del even from an early age, and as a result he believes that democracy is fundamentally flawed. When the empire came to his home town to test for force sensitivity, Del's parents hide him away from the testers for fear that he would test positive and be taken away. Del, unknown to both him and his parents, was indeed force sensitive. Del was shocked and hurt when news of the Death Stars destruction reached Daalang, and he pledged to do whatever he could to make the rebels pay. But by the time he was old enough to join the Empires military, the second Death Star had been destroyed and the war was drawing to a close. Del and a group of friends where originally set on forming a resistance against the New Republic, but where talked down by their parents. When the first rebel troops arrived at Daalang Del greeted them not with cheers and clapping, but with a stare of silent hate. One of the Jedi leading the troops sensed Del's gift and a test only confirmed his suspicions. At the age of 18, Del was taken from his home and brought before Master Skywalker and his New Jedi Order.

He was assigned to a Master; a Zabrak named Thar'tul, and was instructed in the ways of the force. During his training, Del's contempt of the Jedi lessened and he came to respect Luke and his order, though he remained critical of the government that they supported. At the age of 25, after only 7 years of training, Del became a full-fledged Jedi Knight. Though even with his new title, even as he worked with the others to rebuild Coruscant, he never truly thought of himself as a member of the Republic or the Jedi. Eventually he left the Order, only a year after his Knighthood ceremony. He had told Luke and the council that he was faced with an internal conflict and that he needed time to face his demons, alone. In truth, he had heard talk of one "Grand Admiral Thrawn" who was allegedly planning to attack the Republic and reinstate the Galactic Empire. Del made his way the unknown regions where he encountered Admiral Thrawn's fleet. After assisting with a raid on a pirate base, Del met with the Admiral and explained his position. The Chiss decided that someone who understood the layout of the Republic would be a useful ally and so recruited Del as a Lieutenant. Over the next 2 years Del would prove to Thrawn that he was an excellent commander and solider, and he rose through the ranks quickly. During Thrawns blitzkrieg into known space, Del advised him to attack several weak points in the Republics defenses and personally lead a fleet against territory just south of the Imperial Remnant. Promoted to Commodore, Del was given a small fleet and sent eastward to check the expansion of the Sith. There he has been positioned since the start of the conflict, battling both Sith and Republic forces, mostly with success. He currently views the Emperor as weak and incompetent and believes that Thrawn should govern the Empire.

Although he may come across as harsh to some of his subordinates, he is in fact quite friendly to his equals and respectful of his superiors. His ultimate wish is to help establish a unified Galactic Empire where poverty and inequality are non-existence. This is part of why he doesn't like the Emperor because he doesn't believe that he would support such a regime. He tries to help others when ever he can and believes that it is each citizen's duty to give back to their nation. It's also worth noting that he does not hate the Jedi and he would happily welcome any that would join the Empire. The Sith, on the other hand, he views as barbaric anarchists who's only goal is to undermine everything that civilization has accomplished.

Skills: He is proficient in the use of both a blaster and a lightsaber. He is also and good fighter pilot and mechanic, though he would rather trust either duty to someone under his command.

Equipment: Blue single-hilt lightsaber, blaster pistol, personalized camouflage storm trooper armor and blaster rifle (during combat missions).

Faction Affiliation: Imperial Remnant
Escapist Name: Viking Incognito
Character Name: Rez Tereth
Species: Khommite [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Khommite]
Age: 25 years since he was cloned.
Occupation: Mercenary
Appearance:

Imagine those are laser SMGs and by the way, those things that look like huge eyes are goggles.

Backstory and Important Information: Rez was cloned, like the majority of Khommites, to be perfect. His speed, strength, and agility were nearly superhuman from the moment he opened his eyes. However, due the relative obscurity of his species in the universe, the slavers that captured him while he was only 2 months out of the tube didn?t realize what a mistake they had made. They sold him to a Trandoshan [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Trandoshan] mobster in the outer rim, and that is when things got ugly. Rez served the reptilian gangster for 3 weeks until one day, while the lizard was eating; Rez grabbed a knife from the dinner table, and stabbed him repeatedly in the face, then took his pistol and killed everyone else in the room before escaping. Having not been exposed to Khommite thought and culture, Rez did not become a civil, superiority obsessed scientist like his kind normally did, and instead had to learn how to survive on his own in the outer rim. He became a frighteningly effective mercenary in a few years? time, and when the outer rim went mad with the re-emergence of the empire, he and a small crew he gathered fled to the middle rim, and are scraping by with smaller contracts since there isn?t as much to do, and they need to avoid detection.

Skills: Rez?s heightened physical abilities make him a truly deadly fighter, and his genetically superior mind and instincts make him a valuable tactician. He is not exactly a natural leader, but he just has the kind of determined personality that draws some level of respect from those around him. He also has a bit of medical experience in the field. He is no surgeon, but he can keep you alive long enough to retreat.

Equipment: Two automatic laser pistols, a knife in his boot, goggles that provide heat vision, night vision, and regular eye protection. Plus his lightly armored outfit seen in the picture.

Faction Affiliation:Fringe

Escapist Name: CJ1145

Character Name: Kares Octavian

Species: Devaronian [http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Devaronian]

Age: 28

Occupation: Mercenary/Republic Sympathizer

Appearance: Stands at about 6'4", above average for his species and tall by human standards, but not tall to the point of noteworthiness. His build is lean and muscular, though his own natural density makes this a rather deceiving appearance.

His skin is red, and lacking in any noticeable blemishes save for a bit of scorched-looking skin on the right side of his neck. His horns are of average length and look to be sharper than the norm, possibly by design. His face is taut and youthful-looking, with a cocked brow and a toothy grin at all times.

Backstory and Important Information: Kares was born on Coruscant to impoverished parents. He doesn't like to tell this part of the story, as he's not fond of cliches. He lived in squalor in the lower levels until he was about 15 years old, at which time he fled his family to make a name for himself in the galaxy.

He failed. The best he got was part of a small-time crew of mercenaries under the head of a man named Zad. A brutal taskmaster, he taught the young Devaronian about the most brutal and practical ways to kill a man. Though he was harsh, it was to teach. Kares became a masterful mercenary, applying his own natural charm to become Zad's frontman to earn them the best contracts, and using his own skills and utter lack of honor to take their target.

Though he never had much use for it personally, Kares was a fan of the Republic and the ideal of freedom it stood for. Naturally, the war with the Empire caught his interest. When peace first came three years ago, and the more underground elements of the two opposing factions began to show up in his territory, the young man took notice. He decided he would help the Republic in his own way, by taking any contracts they'd give him, as well as taking Imperial contracts to wreck their plans.

This gained him some ire from Zad, who wasn't fond of getting on the Empire's bad side. So he struck out on his own, landing on Coruscant to find a crew, a ship, and a contract. Thus far he has only found a fraction of one of those things: Vic Mazzenger, AWOL Stormtrooper and dedicated sidekick.

Skills:
*Charmer, capable of twisting words around to get on people's good sides.
*Combat pragmatist, skilled in both blasters and hand to hand, and willing to use any and all advantages to win the day; this includes taking hostages, shooting other people's hostages, and the occasional groin-stab with his sharpened horns.
*An adequate pilot, as all members of Zad's crew were forced to take a few hours in the simulator during off time.
*Friendly. Not precisely a skill, but he takes care of his own, which brings about its own advantages.

Equipment: 1 Model 434 Heavy Blaster Pistol. 1 heavily altered A43 Hushabye blaster. 2 standard Thermal Detonators. 1 Combat knife. Civilian clothing.

Faction Affiliation: Fringe, though preference towards New Republic

Important Note: If you wish to use an NPC with a person's username beside their title, please ask that Escapist User beforehand.
Caster Udea
An Imperial Senator representing the former Galactic power in the New Republic Senate. Caster is a young man, and a cunning strategist. He often hires people behind the scenes to tip balances in his favor. He may or may not be planning his own revolution against the Empire, but only time will tell. And with Thrawn's return, the time for disloyal Imperials may be running short.

Grand Admiral Thrawn (Soviet Heavy)
The legendary 13th Grand Admiral, Thrawn has recently returned from the Unknown Regions at the behest of the Emperor. Taking command of the Imperial Fleet, Thrawn has set plans in motion that could see the Imperial Remnant retake its former glory.

Emperor Palpatine
The ailing but still dangerous leader of the Imperial Remnant. Having survived Darth Vader's treachery, Palpatine was soon afflicted with failing health, which he only offsets with the use of clone body parts. The supreme ruler of the Imperial Remnant, he will not sit idly by while rogue Sith groups threaten his Empire.

Ryn'Talos (Captain Pirate)
Six hundred years ago, a Nautolan Jedi known as Ryn'Talos killed Jedi Knight Khar's master in a duel. The two became friends, sharing the ideals of an order that embraced both light and dark. However, over the years, Ryn and Khar drifted apart. Ryn fell to the Dark Side, slaying his friend, and storing a portion of his essence in his lightsaber, allowing him to survive for centuries, slowly plotting. He has set in motion a plan to raise a new Sith Army to challenge the Empire and the New Republic.

Luke Skywalker
The leader of the New Jedi Order. Luke Skywalker leads his pupils to enlightenment, and encourages Jedi to take a more proactive role in the galaxy. The new, smaller Jedi Temple on Coruscant was constructed to emphasize the Jedi's commitment to the community on a personal level. In the dark times ahead, Luke must turn to his students to carry out dangerous tasks for the sake of the New Republic.

.
EDIT1: What are the benefits of using more than one character at any given time?
Several benefits. For one thing, you can cover multiple storylines simultaneously, if you so choose. Second, if you find yourself alone, having two characters can work much like the NPC rules, so you can continue to have conversations and do actions even if no other players are present.
.
This is less of a guided crusade for the McGuffin and more of a fully fleshed out story *WE* make... Interesting.

Less of a guided adventure, and more of a "stories that happen during a war" kinda deal. If you look at the old thread, several of the mini plots and adventures just sort of manifested themselves over time. I found that the free form nature worked really well, since the Star Wars universe would be really boring if you were stuck on a tour of one planet before going to another.

Alright, I'm tossing ideas here -
An ex Merchant Navy marine that was stranded together with his comrades on a hostile planet due to a selfish decision by his brother escapes the planet after a skirmish with some slavers. In the conflict his friends die and he finds himself in the Hutt space. He offers his "sword" for hire to gather enough money and track down the brother that betrayed him... and kill him.
A young woman that had been sold into slavery as a child in the household of a Java from one of the great families becomes a Greeter. She learns many different alien languages and cultures and entertains the guests that come to see her master. She is a translator between the two parties. She considers the Java to be a father figure. She is a brilliant Chemist and an adept Engineer. She was taught how to concoct drugs and became the inventor of a famous pdychodelic drug that's floating in the market these days. As a translator she was asked to participate in a deal between her Master and another party. She had to exchange a briefcase for another one, but the deal broke and she fled the battlefield. She continues to live her life outside of her confines in the Java's palace and keeps that special item close to heart.
Can I or you incorporate these characters into existing tales or can they stand on their own two feet?

Several benefits. For one thing, you can cover multiple storylines simultaneously, if you so choose. Second, if you find yourself alone, having two characters can work much like the NPC rules, so you can continue to have conversations and do actions even if no other players are present.
.
This is less of a guided crusade for the McGuffin and more of a fully fleshed out story *WE* make... Interesting.
Less of a guided adventure, and more of a "stories that happen during a war" kinda deal. If you look at the old thread, several of the mini plots and adventures just sort of manifested themselves over time. I found that the free form nature worked really well, since the Star Wars universe would be really boring if you were stuck on a tour of one planet before going to another.
.
Well, one of the current stories carried over from the last RP is set in Hutt Space. Put her on Nar Shaddaa and mine and Captain Pirate's second character could run across the fleeing slave.

Ok, this is for the girl.
.

I hope it is not too late, this looks interesting.

Alright, just make sure it gets to me.

As for everyone else, I have a long drive ahead of me today, so I probably won't get back to this until late tonight. Sorry about that, but I'll try to be as prompt as I can.

I'm a huge fan of Star Wars. This looks like a lot of fun. Here's my sheet.

When the empire came to his home town to test for force sensitivity, Del?s parents hide him away from the testers for fear that he would test positive and be taken away. One of the Jedi leading the troops sensed Del?s gift and a test only confirmed his suspicions. At the age of 18, Del was taken from his home and brought before Master Skywalker and his New Jedi Order.

He was assigned to a Master; a Zabrak named Thar?tul, and was instructed in the ways of the force. During his training, Del?s contempt of the Jedi lessened and he came to respect Luke and his order, though he remained critical of the government that they supported. In truth, he had heard talk of one ?Grand Admiral Thrawn? who was allegedly planning to attack the Republic and reinstate the Galactic Empire. Del made his way the unknown regions where he encountered Admiral Thrawn?s fleet.

This is part of why he doesn?t like the Emperor because he doesn?t believe that he would support such a regime. He tries to help others when ever he can and believes that it is each citizen?s duty to give back to their nation. It?s also worth noting that he does not hate the Jedi and he would happily welcome any that would join the Empire. The Sith, on the other hand, he views as barbaric anarchists who?s only goal is to undermine everything that civilization has accomplished.

Any constructive criticism is welcome :)
