do you need like a dedicated rig to play this? and what's the worst that could happen if i tried to play it on a rig not strong enough?

No need for a top-line rig. Just a standard, maybe above-average one will do. As for a piece of shit? Well, I haven't seen it played on one, but I hear it isn't terrible. Just turn everything down to the lowest setting and make sure its the only thing running.

I ain't a huge stracraft fan, but i definitely wanted to check this out

Blizzard optimizes the fucknuggets out of their games so you should be set with mid range or ever lower maybe. Off topic: I just right clicked the spell-check for "fucknuggets" maybe I should sleep now...

If by dedicated you mean worth more than my pocket change, then yes. You need a dedicated rig.

Seriously though, I can run this on a four-year-old PC on low settings, and max on my 14-month old rig. Reqs are pretty easy.
