Anyone else excited for tonight? They really ended last season on a cliffhanger. Kind of cheesy but damn it makes me want to see the season premier.

Also...what have ya'll thought of the series as a whole?

It started off strong, got boring and generic in the middle, and then started to get better towards the end of the season. I love the music...Flogging Molly FTW.

I think you're about one week late. I saw the first episode for this season last Tuesday. But thanks for reminding me that a new episode airs tonight!

Edit: Opps didn't really say anything about what I think of the series. Um... Well so far I've enjoyed it. And that was one hell of a cliffhanger for the end of last season. Damn, I could barely wait till this one came around.

Yes he is a week late But here in the UK it was shown tonight.

I enjoyed it nut its missing something that made it awesome i get that the 1st season is setting the scene and all that jazz. Tonights ep answered a few questions but the whole thing just seems weak to me and too serious.

I do wish they kill that fucking woman off she is just annoying eye candy thats not even eye candy

Oh, and as for the series, I watch it, but it is the worst of the three. Nothing can beat SG-1.

Stargate Universe is too much like a space soap opera. I also hate how it is filmed. It feels and looks too much like Battlestar Galactica, and I hated Battlestar Galactica.

I watch it but I agree with the previous poster that it's the worst of the three shows. There's way to many stereotypical characters in my opinion. I've always been a huge SG fan though so I'll continue to watch it until they do something to really lose me.

I'll give it a while before watching the new season. None of the new characters stick with me and it's nothing to do with the whole "space opera" thing that SGU is going for, I just....don't care about them or their plight. They have failed to connect with me in any way. Then again, this is my staple with all Stargate franchises including SG-1. I hated it but it's the most tolerable of the the series. I shall wait for some reviews to come in before bothering with SGU again

I've only seen the first three episodes of the first season did it turn into this:

Well, "Air" part 1.... and 2..... and 3 were great.

Probably because the writers worked on them for at least a year or two before they made the pitch and started filming. Earth, fire, wind, water, heart and whatever other elemental episodes they came up with were good too. After that it was downhill. When they didn't even bother to be original with the aliens i almost gave up on it being "good". I mean seriously, the greys? Please, a 3rd grader with a crayon can come up with aliens more interesting. I just watch it for the cool space tech and the science jargon episodes.
