There is one major issue with the game that does need to be brought up, DLC. THQ made no secret about intending to release massive amounts of DLC for the game, even before launch, and at present there is about $30 worth on Steam (not counting the DLC that's already included in the Season Pass), with more on the way. Most of this is insubstantial fluff, but because of the game's multiplayer architecture, this is almost certainly gated content the player already has but cannot access.
There is a lot to recommend to this game, it's a very solid game. There's also a lot that can leave you scratching your head or feeling like the game is mocking you. For a GTA style clone it feels a bit short, and the amount of DLC may make that length seem like it's a bait and switch.
