Starting a private server...

I need to know if anyone has any good resources or info on how to start a private server for online MMO's like Guild Wars or WoW? Ive tried searching on the forums here as well as the internet in general and have come up empty handed, or with very vague instructions at best. Any advice is appreciated.

hmm... from the way you guys answered I think I'll read over the EULA again. If this is indeed a question in foul territory, Then I withdraw my question. At least for the time being. Thanks for the quick replys.

EDIT: Im Sorry, This is a foul question. after further reading I have found where the EULA states that this IS NOT permitted. I assume this is for any MMO style game but I now know for a fact that Guild Wars does not permit this action. Maybe this will answer other peoples questions in future times also.
